After winning two Super Bowls for a franchise, you would think a coach would be able to leave on his own terms. I'm a little shocked Shanahan was fired. The Broncos haven't been to the playoffs in three season, but they have never had an awful season under Mike Shanahan. He is a HOF coach in my mind, and do the Broncos really think whoever his successor will be will do a better job than he did?
