BC gives you an Suburban campus in Newton, Mass. that is a trolly ride away from Boston. Another words, you get the best of both worlds. Profs are great, although I do not really care for the religious ties it has.

Boston College combines the outstanding educational value along with the atmosphere that makes college the best years of your life.

Excellent programs and an approachable faculty..and lets not forget the unbelievable beauty of the campus. The college is a community on it's own..but with the benefit of being a part of the city as well. So many cultural events readily available.

Boston College is great school for many majors -- and very good in others. The Philosophy department's undergraduate offerings, for example, are widely considered to be the best in the country. World-renowned profs teaching small- to mid-sized classes. A big school, with a smaller-school feel. You can't beat the cultural and entertainment value of Boston. Few schools combine the sports with the academics -- and also provide an amazingly fun, interesting, vital backdrop like the city of Boston, which puts the best cultural opportunities (museums, libraries, concerts, lectures, historical sightseeing) in America within walking distance. I could go on and on.

Boston College is a school where you can find good classes but the majority are not at a high caliber.
