 | LiliaCalip (0) 12/30/2007 | SDSU IS a party school, definitely, but it's no ASU. There are some house parties and a lot of frat parties, but only a third of the people I've met actually care about that. It's just like any other school in the sense that people are there first and foremost to get an education. The only downside is that the greek life is huge, most of the people in it look like clones. Most of the people you'll catch walking around campus look exactly the same. Depressing.

 | HistoryFan (100) 10/22/2005 | I attended SDSU majoring in history. While the undergraduate program was wonderful, the graduate program there is a joke. SDSU is last on my list for graduate education (the first is UCSD and USD). Still, their business programs are not too shabby ;)

 | dgu56 (0) 04/23/2004 | Todd, you are wrong. SDSU is highly respected, and some of the programs rank in the top twenty nationally. Because it is in San Diego, CA, it suffers from a party school reputation, but read the recent news about some of the other top universities and you'll see the same type of incidents (frat parties, hazings, etc.). The SDSU campus is also outstanding, and you cannot beat the weather.
