The fact that ND has less than three stars says it all about this site and what we are to conclude from its ratings.

I don't know how much scholarship ever mattered here.

As a student at Notre Dame I can tell you it is all that it is cracked up to be. Yes, some of the alumni are a bit too proud and yes football is a big deal but this place is amazing. The education is top-notch and it is great because it is like a small liberal arts college during the week and a huge Big 10 school on weekends. It really can't be beat, look at the admissions statistics! It is hard as hell to get into this place!

Good liberal arts and business schools. Adequate engineering and architectural schools. South Bend is an underrated town, you're fairly close to Chicago and Lake Michigan. Too many East Coast drunks and elitists. This is an OK school but the alumni (and the huge group of subway alumni) tend to think of it as being much better than it really is.

A non-Diverse, EASY, football factory with NOT enough majors, curriculum course choices and located in one of the 2 armpits of the nation ; the crime ridden slums of South Bend. I know from direct first hand experience from those who attended that no one studies there or is actually required to exhibit scholarship/do homework. Faculty is lacking and value of ND degree is not at all helpful after graduation. No culture.

Sacreligous use of Jesus to promote football scoring, while laboring under the banner of drunken and beligerant leprichauns, sums up this place.
