I miss the page where you could see new things to rate, but since I almost always used the recent reviews list to find items to review I'm almost satisfied with the new format.

A bit slow and I kinda have tunnel vision. Its hard to break out into new topics at times, like you're stuck...

Update: One thing I've noticed, is if I go back to comment on something that I had previously rated, I will get an Error if I try to comment on it. For example tonight I tried to comment on something in my Good Times list that I had previously rated a 4 but left no comment, and was getting Error. That has happend on past similar situations in V3 as well. OC: I think the rating is better currently. While slower, the benefit is that it makes blanket helpful-ing a reviewer more cumbersome. We have to put a little thought into whether we want to give this guy or gal a helpful.

Grr......I hate the star thing and the delays. Someone tell magellan I was complaining....he will be amazed.

I agree with many others here that reviewing seems to be much slower. Plus, I have noticed that the ability to "bump" a comment is gone, whether re-posting "as-is" or updating with new info, correcting typos, and so on. If this isn't a bug, this feature should return to the site, as sometimes a comment can be legitimately "bumped", especially for the sake of letting different reviewers see it.

The only things that I see wrong is that rating and reviewing does seem to be a little slower now than it was previously. I do like the way things look, in general. I think that it's just going to take time to get used to it, as it would with anything that is new.

I preferred this on the old system. The old system was highly quick and easy to use as you just had to type your review in there and then, whereas now you have to load up a whole new page and then click twice. As little as that may sound, it's enough time for me to forget what I was going to say and enough effort for me to not bother reviewing stuff some of the time. Also it would be nice to see the bold, italic and link insertion facilities back.Sorry to moan...

The larger field is nice, but a few features such as bold, italic, and link insertion are missing.

I dislike it. Some new things are nice, but others are rather aggravating- I preferred the relative simplicity of the old version. I keep expecting questions from the SAT's to pop up, and soon I will be asked to remember the atomic number of Magnesium. Also, the large numbers of statistics leave me to feel that you can hit a button and what Ridgewalker would have hit in Candlestick Park had he played for the 1974 Giants will appear.

The reviewing format is fine, and there's more room to read, and therefore edit your review as you write it. The speed rating function, which I hoped would die, is still there and more accessible.I wonder why I don't see my own reviews on the feed, however.

Well, the dust seems to be settling around here. I just logged on, turned everything off except the reviews and the heart of this site...the Recent Reviews page...kinds feels like V2 again. This is good. I don't see the benefits of the site automatically posting page after page of any of the Speed Rating items that don't contain content, but at least we can control that. Feels much better today...PS: Why do we have to keep resetting the "Recent Happenings" settings everytime the page is refreshed?

The "Happy Star" doesn't help things at all. By far I prefer the pop up window format of old. This new format bites.

The reviewing is just as easy. Minus that smug star guy popping up every step of the way. But the rating discourages me to rate. I still force myself to give back and rate others but it really stows me down to wait for a little pop up every time.... And the new disagree feature shouldn't be. We are adding content and interest and we shouldn't feel bad for having a differing opinion. I see no one uses the disagree yet. But I worry that soon a review will come and I will have so many disagrees that I will start keeping my opinion to myself. If people disagree that is what YOUR OWN review is for!

I like it slightly better than what it's used to be like since now you can rate and write reviews on the list page instead having to go into the item to write reviews.
