Actually, it was Roberts who flubbed his lines. It was his first time administering the Oath of Office to an incoming President. Perhaps he should have practiced his lines a bit more.

The oath is very simple. The President is sworn to uphold the Constitution and to act in good faith while in office.

I can only imagine what a rush this must have been, with the millions packed into the mall looking on. Probably like wedding vows times 10 (sorry, Jess).

The Oath is pretty simple and to the point. Its always a cool moment to see the transition of power in the United States, and I like how the President's family is able to be present during the swearing in.

Looks like Justice Roberts and Obama could have practiced this a little. Obama seems to never get flustered when he speaks, but repeating lines looked to be a bit difficult for him.
