Sucks.

I started watching Days when Drake first started. I always gave him thumbs up. Wish they would get on the stick and give him some more juicy lines. I am one of the older people that miss what Days are all about. To bad the head people cannot see this before days goes off the air

Drake is awesome. He is wonderful to his fans and wonderfule to watch onscreen with Deidre. I have met him and can honestly say he is a great guy!

The leading follower of Joey Tribbiani's smell the fart acting, Hogestyn is absolutely laughable. Good comic relief. What are the producers of Days thinking?

I am from the South, and I once loved ham. However, Drake Hogestyn's hammy acting has turned my stomach! Where did they get this guy? We have students at our local high school who emote better than this creep. Does anyone remember his stint as the pilot several summers ago? He had me lol with his hideous facial expressions. Give me a break!

What bothers me about this guy is that the only time his acting seems real is when he has to make love for the cameras. Drake's obviously getting aroused for real: his place should be in porn, where he could release his own animalistic instincts!

I cannot stand this guy. Those faces that he makes and the loud breathing noises are so annoying. Is that retirement I hear knocking at the door? I wish.

He is the best looking man the business. I have been completely infatuated w/Drake since 1986. LOVE THIS MAN!! There have been times I would have paid one million dollars to be Deidre Hall!!

not great, over rated by Days. He is a weak actor, but can do ok if along side a decent cast. Sadly, Days has lost that decent cast. Days needs the likes of Stephen Nichols, Mary Beth Evans, Patsy Pease. The current fare just isnt working.

john black is like razon burn on my gnads. i bet he thinks that he knows what women want, but, hello, everybody knows that only mel gibson knows that. seriously, though. . .i hope that he never reads this because he probably has more courage stored up there in his half-baked mullet than i have in my entire rat tail. if you are reading this, john, i'm only jokin'. you probably get laid a good deal more than me. what's your trick? is it your throaty voice? now that i think about it razor burn on my gnads isn't that bad.

Ok people, this guy totally sucks! He is a perfectly good example of a waste of camera time when the airtime should be used on more talented actors and actresses who make days interesting. The guy cant act, and i really wish he would have that eye opereated on b/c it drives me nuts. I hate him. get him off the show. he looks like a freak as well. Oh my! I am too mean. I could go on and on about how much i dislike this character but I am sure a great majority feel the same way. Get the man off the air and let him free. He is making a fool of himself. Whenever his part of days is own i either light a cigarette or call somebody. The guy is the poster model for BORING!

agggghhhhh!!!! the extent of this dork's acting ability seems to squinting at the camera for an extended period, as if the process of thinking is downright painful. he must have studied at the roger moore acting academy.

I am sick of John! Why women on the show fight over him is beyond me. His acting is nothing to write home about but he sure thinks it is.

is he human?? he destroys the whole point of the soap opera. he thinks he is the best but quite frankly he is a dumbass. he has a stare that is supposed to be sexy but it looks like he is going to kill you.

I love John... if there's a man alive that knows how to kiss on screen... it's JOHN. He's aware of his actresses (both his kids and Marlena) and gives them the best of him. I think he's just wonderful... I've been taping and watching DOOL for years... partly just because of Drake!

Every time this smarmy lounge lizard said "That's a fact." in that psuedo-sexy raspy voice I was torn between wanting to slap him or laugh myself into a stupor. This guy had no small part in my decision to dump DOL.

It amazes me how bad soap opera actors are. It is almost like they cast the worst possible actor out there to play the part. John from Days of Our Lives is a perfect example. He is just this drama guy who thinks he is so cool. It is pure cheese. The reason I have given him a rating of a 3 is because personally, I think he is horrible but as far as fitting into Days, he does fit. The worst is when on Days, they go into a corner and talk to themselves outloud, like no one else in the background can hear them, or when John does his "evil stare." It makes me laugh.
