Rodger is a kind and genuine man who befriended everyone, and though he may not have been the greatest asset to the physical aspect, he kept his team going through thick and thin by boosting morale. However, later he ended up doing the most work toward the end of the day, and everyone loved him. He was kind to all and it only helped he was friends with Elisabeth, what a cute relationship! He and Elisabeth were the best thing about this season by far!

A nice old guy, who knew how to play the game. Even if he is older, he has a lot of strength in him. I'm glad him and Elisabeth got along so well. It made the way for Paschal and Neleh in Season 4.

Did you see Rodger on Hollywood Squares? I'm telling you, he will never change. He does not act like a celebrity at all.

My two year old daughter just loves Rodger (I must add, I do too)! Just tonight, she was playing with her bathtub fishing rod and said, "I am catching fish, like Rodger!" Then she finished by exclaiming "Kucha!" I think it is wonderful that Rodger is such a great example that I can feel comfortable letting my two year old daughter watch him on t.v.! Thanks Rodger!

I really enjoy watching a reality show when someone like Rodger is participating. He is a warm, kind man who has not said a nasty word about anyone. I would love to see him or Elisabeth win the game. He has displayed bravery and loyalty like no one I've watched (except Elisabeth). His wife and children must be very proud of him. Rodger, Good luck in all that you do in your life! 4/20/01 UPDATE: I have never been so sorry to see someone go, but I think he left the game in the best possible way. He helped a friend, and he was never cruel to anyone. Rodger has to be one of the most generous and kind people I've seen on a reality show. He will go far in life.

I like Rodger. He seems to be honest, loyal and determined to get as much out of this experience as he can. He is also a good player of the game, without being cutthroat and narrow-minded. I like his friendship with Elisabeth and I don't see either one of them stabbing the other in the back. I was very impressed when Rodger (who admitted that he had a fear of water and had just learned to swim before leaving for the show) jumped off of the cliff and swam with little hesitation and great determination. He doesn't seem to rub anyone the wrong way, he does his part to support the tribe and most importantly, he tends to be a quiet observer learning about his fellow tribe members. UPDATE on Rodger..I had previously given him 4 *s and had to change that to 5..he really is Great! His determination to jump off of the cliff and swim was unbelievable, his loyalty is constant and he admittedly goes along with the "Kentucky Joe" bit because he knows it makes him even more likeable and possibly less of a threat to the other tribe members. I can see him going far, even now with him and Elisabeth being the only Kucha survivors. His honesty, respect, hard work (he is constantly working and fishing) and loyalty will take him very far. I think he has earned the respect of Keith and Tina and hopefully, they the remaining Ogakors will not "pick him off." In the first Survivor, few people liked Rich but had to admit that he played the game..However, it is refreshing to see that the game doesn't have to be won by manipulation .. loyalty and honesty can work too. I hope Rodger wins.

Rodger is the Best!!!!! He is such a gentleman and very true to his friends. The way he has took Elisabeth under his wings and made her feel like family, is indeed a good hearted person. He seems so genuine in his feelings and he has been a good sport in everything he has done on the show. I can't swim either and am afraid of heights, so I know what it took to jump off that clift and jump into deep water. He has really outdone his job for the tribe. I don't think there is nothing that will prevent him from going to the end and winning the money. Cheers for Rodger and I wish you the best!!!!!

Rodger has great charisma! I agree with what most people are saying about this man because he is ready and willing to go above and beyond what he is supposed to (fishing every morning...). Even if he and Elisabeth are picked off, I still think that they could have made it far because of their geniune warm character. I wish I could be more like that. Rodger, you have my five stars!

Rodger is such a nice, down to earth guy. I just love him. I would be happy if he won. Too bad Maralyn didn't make it long enough for the 2 of them to meet up. He seems like such a genuinly nice guy. I was afraid he wouldn't last long. Now, I think it will be hard for anyone to vote against him.

Alongside Elisabeth, he should make it to the final two. He is, like Elisabeth, genuine and nice. And wasn't it so sweet of him to give her that heart-shaped rock? It seems like a good grandfather-granddaughter type relationship, and one of them should win the million dollars.

Rodger has really won my respect. I initially took notice of him when he had to jump off of a cliff (he's afraid of heights) and then swim a considerable distance (he just learned how to swim days before the show). He's very kind to Elisabeth, which shows me that he recognizes and befriends decent people in a pit of two-faced snakes. He listens to everybody; most of the time keeping his opinions to himself, which tells me he's intelligent and a savvy player. I've also learned that he is supposedly a shrewd business man back home and succeeds in most things he does. Honestly, you just look at his face and you hope he wins.

I'm so glad this gentle soul has made it this far. I think he handled Jerri's bossing him around about where to build the shelter calmly and graciously although he seemed annoyed. Hopefully the now majority party of Ogakor's will not see him as any sort of threat and perhaps he'll last even longer. He works with his tribemates and actually has skills that are helpfull.

Rodger all the way!!! He brings his BIBLE, overcomes a fear of water..he is a real survivor. Rodger is not the country bumpkin those folks might of first thought. He built them a fine shelter and helped clean and kill plenty of their suppers. In real life this man is an educator and buisness man and leader in his community. God Bless Rodger in all he does long after "Survivor."

He and Elisabeth are the more subtle of Kucha. Yet their steely determination and dedication are what keeps this tribe from fighting and being at cross purposes. I worry about his future tho' once the Chaos Crew from Ogakor show up. Is he ready to go head to head with Gerry?

I instantly became a fan of survivor when I found out that one of my favorite teachers made the cut. Rodger is a great person and a great teacher. I knew people would fall in love with his personality. The jump off the cliff shows us all he's there to overcome any fears he may have and to do what it takes to survive. I know he is a very honest person and I'm excited to see what his strategy is.

I believe you could trust Roger with anything. He has always seemed to have done what was best for everyone, not just himself. He has worked hard, done his best in all the challanges and tried his best not to hold anyone back. I would love to see him win in this "game", but if he doesn't, I think that each one will leave being a better person for having known him.

Rodger is a bright spot on the show. How can you not like a man who conducts himself with such honor? I can see why Elisabeth likes him--he's like everybody's dad. His farm background and knowledge have helped the tribe again and again. He is a real winner.

Rodger is definitely Rudy from the last episode. I think he'll make it to the merger. Or at least I hope - I have a soft spot for elderly folks. Hopefully, like the last episode, he'll get a few of the first votes, but then people will soon forget about him. And boom, there he is, in the final 3.

Rodger is the sweetest most genuine person on the show and I think that he would do anything to help out anyone on his tribe. Although he's not the strongest when it comes to the physical challenges, he knows what he's doing outside and seems more than willing to do whatever it is he needs to in order to help his tribe out. He has been putting in 100% of his effort without a negative word out of his mouth, and I think they should all be happy to have someone there who they can trust and who is as easy-going as he is.
