Jeff Probst is very talented. He does not play the PC role, but rather ask probing questions of the Survivors. Besides his talent, I've seen him on talk shows and he's a genuine person who loves his family and has a great sense of humor. He's cool!

What attract me to watch survivor not because the show itself but more to jeff.I love to see his face and I have no idea that he is already 41 year old guy. He is simply the best host with qualities from second to none. He is cool, calm and plus he also has a very good voice. I think he has no rival fo survivor position. but if survivor want to replace, I suggest marc overmars (dutch superstar football player) becuse he is resemble to jeff.

Jeff is the hottest 41 year old around. Im only 22, but man with those looks who cares about age. Jeff is Survivor! He tells the story and does it brilliantly. The quality of production for this show is just amaizing. Jeff is like a 9 on a 1-10 scale, but man when he's wet from the rain he's like a 20. OMG, talk about hot!

I think Jeff Probst is a truly perfect selection for the host of SURVIVOR. I think he completely knows what he is doing out there. So many people say he is so dumb and cheesy; the fact is he knows his lines (such as "The tribe has spoken" and "I'll go tally the votes") are silly and overused, but that is really what people like. I have seen him off the show in his natural state and he is a funny, warm, intelligent guy.

I think Jeff Probst is a great host. He is very direct in his statements, honest & truthful. The questions he asks at tribal council make you aware of things you might have missed and reconsider what your choices might be. That was so cool when you took their shelter in exchange for more rice. I would have been meaner becuase food seems more abundant (as apposed to S 1) and they were not carefull with what they had. You have about the best job going.

I think he's great. Cute too! I think its pretty obvious that he is really into the show - and what these people are going through, and I'm looking forward to watching Survivor III.

Comments made by Jeff at the challenges and at tribal councils are designed to affect their outcomes. Recent case in point: the immunity challenge where he reminded everyone that Rodger still had all three of his plates unbroken. His banter at the tribal councils is scripted to affect the outcome of the vote if at all possible. This is part of the game. Strategies are incorporated by all involved, even behind the scenes.

Seems like a jackass, being way too smug and smarmy for his own good. I hate the way he intimidates the contestants by dangling food and prizes in front of their faces. And when tribal council comes around he has this attitude like he's all high and almighty. I want to see him fast for 40 days and complete physical challenges with zero nutritional sustenance! Put your money where your mouth is Jeff and wipe that stupid grin off your face.

This guy is just a little too intense for me. I don't understand why everyone thinks he is so great. Come on people. He didn't produce the show. He's the freaking host for pete's sake. That's it. The host.

I don't know how old most of you are and how you rate people, but I had the honor last weekend to actually meet Jeff. What a truly wonderful guy! Not only is he talented and confident, he has chrisma, (good looks are obvious), a great personality and sense of humor and is a "get to meat of it" kind of guy. He shared information about the "business" which was very helpful for the aspiring ators. I never really watched Survivor, but I am definatley starting now. He inspired me more than I am already, to continue to pursue my dreams. Remember that this show is taped live and I don't know how many of you could do it and do it as well as he does. Maybe you should think about that when you jump right to criticizing others. Thanks Jeff..Hope to meet you again in the future.

I LOVE this man! The way he makes the otherwise hokey dialogue he has to say sound so believable and almost earth shattering is incredible! All joking aside, I am 17 and I think this 39 year old is absolutely to die for. On other people, the clothes he wears all the time would get repetitive and boring, but on this sexy man, it looks damn good. All you chicks that trashed him, have you actually LOOKED at him?? And I just found out he's single again! SCORE!

I'm liking Jeff a LOT more this season than last season. Last season he was cocky and arrogant. I kept hoping someone would vote HIM off the island. But this season, he's a lot more relaxed, and more natural. and he's a LOT easier to swallow than oldboy Anderson Cooper. the ARIAN GOD OF REALITY TV didn't really go over well with me. Go Jeff!!!!

Jeff is one of the most annoying parts of watching survivor. I was sincerely hoping that he would be replaced after his performance in the original survivor. He tries to make the tribal council part of the show into some sort of religious experience and it really doesn't work. His interactions with the survivors really aren't that interesting either. With a better host, this show could be a lot better.

Anyways, does anyone else notice that jeff probst looks a lot like the host of temptation island, or is he the host of temptation island, i dunno, I can't really remember what the host of temptation island looked like, all I remember was thinking that he looked like Jeff P.
