I'm laughing with the people that posted below. With. I just walked out of an assignment for RHI "Salaried Professional Services" who 3 times sent me into positions I was not qualified to do. I agreed to a 40K salary, due to what type positions (the SPS Mgr told me) I would be going into. My first position was with a manufacturing co. where I was sent to 'assist' the controller in getting caught up. This controller quit along with a Sr. Accountant and RHI told me the company thought I could just assume both positions (understand, I was sent to assist a controller with bank rec's, J/E's etc). I carried 2 positions for more than a month, than was pulled and sent into a vacated Financial Analyst II position with a company that was losing it's employees due to a merger and resulting layoffs. The controller had no idea how to perform my duties either--he was brand new too! Anyway, the Salaried Professional Services (SPS) in Kansas City recently resigned with no notice (Tim Sh.) and left people hanging. In discussing my concerns with the "new" SPS Mgr, a "Gregory", he now tells me that that is what the program is all about! "We send you into high profile positions, with lots of stress, and sometimes you might need to bail a company out....blah blah blah." Yeah, that's what Tim Sh. told me when I agreed to a 40K salary. Yeah, you betcha. (Remember, Tim S quit with no notice--his secretary stated he just decided to quit working for awhile. Uh huh!) ANYWAY, AVOID THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE THE MOST PATHETIC SALES PITCH ARTISTS YOU CAN IMAGINE. THEY CARE NOTHING ABOUT ANYTHING BUT PROFIT. RHI SPS IS A "SALES" AGENCY, NOT AN EMPLOYEE AGENCY. IF YOU WALK INTO THEIR OFFICE JUST PIN "CHEVY", "BMW", OR SOME CAR LABEL ON YOURSELF, TO THEM YOU'RE NOTHING MORE THAN A USED CAR SALE OPPORTUNITY.

Robert Half is the worst agency I have ever encountered. In addition to insulting me they promise and never deliver work. Their staff is rude, snobbish, and demeaning. I have worked with three separate offices. I believe they train their staff to treat displaced accountants poorly. I only wish I could do more to stop this misleading evil corporation from wasting the valuable time of office professionals seriously looking for meaningful work.

A complete waste of time. They made me take irrelevant skill tests and only spent 5-10 minutes actually talking with me. They said that since I had little experience, I would have to accept a $10/hr. temp job and I have a Master's degree. Prior to the meeting, I had gotten an interview for a $45K job. When I moved to Alabama, I tried them again only because I heard that a recruiter was a Clemson grad. She promised me that she would do all she can to help "one of her own" but I never heard from her again and didn't receive a response to an e-mail. Oh yeah, the job that I finally got pays far more than $10/hr.

They are a horriable company! My advice don't work for them... They don't care about their people they only care about the numbers and their profit. They will work you into the ground but, it is NEVER good enough.
