I a part time student at GSB. It is just a great school. Students are bright, intellectual and well rounded. I have found the classmates team oriented. I did my undergrad at Wharton. This program is at least as good.

I received an excellent education at the GSB - especially in finance, options and accounting. I've used these skills extensively in my investment banking career. The professors are very smart, earnest and hard working. My only complaint is that I found (most of) the student body to be very competitive, and the forced grade curve didn't help. After reading a review below, it sounds like the GSB no longer discloses grades to recruiters. This is a great development and hopefully will lead to more cohesive, supportive and team-work focused students.

UChicago is nowhere what is used to be. Milton Friedman type people have but disappeared and most students have a very mid-westernish attitude. Needs more diversity.

Good backup school for H/S/W. Would also consider NYU and CMU.

Excellent program. More intellectually rigorous than any I know.

The professors are energetic and exciting. They are also probably the best conglomerate of brains teaching a business program. The program is very flexible designed to allow students to develop knowledge in an area of his or her own interests. Although the courses are extremely rigorous, the comraderie with fellow classmates has been terrific. The recent move to grade nondisclosure has done alot to dispel the stigma of cutthroat competition.

If you have strong quantitative abilities, you should go here. It has proven itself over the past 25 years by correctly prescribing the best course for the American economy.
