The classes and the professors are pretty good. But many of the students are arrogant and have inflated opinions of themselves. This isn't unique to the Carlson program since it seems many MBAs have reputations as self centered and arrogant. But I can confirm this reputation is accurate for a decent percentage of Carlson students. The program would be much better off if they did a better job at choosing students that use a more supportive and encouraging approach to their fellow classmates. That is true leadership and that is what you want out of a program that claims to help build business leaders for the future.
