wow the customer service is amazing - they treat their customer with respect and with care. The shopping onluine or over the phone experience is great -- also UNLIKE the GAP - with JCREW you can buy something online or through the catalog and return it in store for a refund -- WITH THE GAP you CANT!!! I love JCrew for making it easy to shop, return and most of all the service -- they speak to you like you are their number one priority unliek other companies!

This is the best online shopping site - trust me! if you like this style. It's basic and classy and lately I've been seeing some interesting changes in style. I've been reading the comments online and not sure why a couple of people have been having problems with ordering online - the web site is fast, easy to navigate. The customer service is excellent: I have been ordering regularly for three years and all the reps are really polite, patient and accomodating. And the sales are great!

I really like the jcrew site. The best thing about it, or at least the biggest most noticeable difference between it and other clothing sites, was how they represent their items. jcrew is one of the few clothing sites that allows the shopper to see a decently enlarged image of the product, enough so that you can get a real sense of what kind of a pattern and weave the item has. Also when you click another color choice it actually changes the item to that color rather than many other sites that just show you a minimally enlarged swatch. Make it easy and user friendly and they'll come back!

I go to jcrew.com to look around but the catalog is so much easier to see things. It is not layed out well at all. I would never buy off the Internet when you can just call. I don't really know why, because I order things off other web sites that have catalogs. I think it has to do with the fact that Jcrew started as a catalog and they do that so well, I don't want to try something new.

The selection offered on the site is excellent, the quality is unbeatable..however the site has much to be desired. I have received numerous errors when trying to make purchases..have even gotten to the check-out to find an empty shopping cart?! Go to the store, don't even attempt buying online..

I feel the products are too expensive. Yea, they are a good brand but I am not sure if I want to pay that much for their clothing line.

Great clothes, but their Web site sucks! I tried to buy a couple of t-shirts from Jcrew.com today and was not able to. I put the first t-shirt in my shopping cart, and then hit the button which said "continue shopping." As soon as I did that, I got an error. Being a nice guy (who also needs t-shirts) I tried it one more time. Bang, I got the error again. So what did I do? I canceled my purchase and went and bought my shirts at the Gap.com. I don't trust a site that can't even perform basic functions to process my credit card.

J.Crew has some good, basic clothes, and its Web site has a complete selection of everything they make (which isn't the case with competitor Web sites like Gap.com). I've been using the J.Crew Web site for a long time, and I've never experienced any kind of problem. They have a great "no questions asked" return policy. And the clearance section of the Web site usually offers a lot of decent clothes at low prices.
