 | hj (0) 02/14/2008 | I tranfered my IRA account to TD-Ameritrade last year and received 300 free trades through the special offer.
I just traded there the 1st time yesterday. I really don't have any complains about it. You type in the symbol, # of shares, pricing (limit, market, etc), and you review the order before submission. That's it.
The only complain I have is the quoting system. It doesn't update by itself (or maybe it's operator error) before I submit the order. I would like to see the current price before I submit the order so I don't enter a low limit order.

I am going to move my account. I am not a day trader. I am not going to trade just to not be assessed a fee.

If you need phone service during the day, the wait can be several minutes.

 | mars539om (0) 10/30/1999 | TD Waterhouse freezes up a lot, blocking you out from trading, which is really bad if you need to liquidate a stock position or put in a stop/limit order.
