07/09/2007 | Nothing bad about this stadium but nothing good either. Seats are configured for football rather than baseball, and rain delays are frequent, so watch the forecast. Day games can be unbearable because of the heat, so stick to night games if you can.

01/29/2004 | A lot of complaints about Pro Player Stadium as a baseball stadium is the size and shape of the stadium. PPS is among the biggest ball parks out there with the longest length of the field (from home base to the furthest point in the outfield) ranging at about 422ft. I like the idea of a bigger ball field. It makes it harder for the long-ball hitters to hit home runs. With a majority of sluggers using steroids today, baseball has become less interesting to watch in smaller ball fields. Home-run base games are about as exciting, or even less, as watching a pitcher's duel, which most regular sports fans detest. The more in the park hits, the more exciting the game becomes. The field situation is a blessing in disguise for the MLB league of today.

04/04/2001 | Marlins did the best they could with given the circumstances of Joe Robbie... I mean Pro Player stadium. When they new park is hopefully built Miami will be a great setting for the park.
