I think they have ton's of great material both freeware and shareware and an excellent reviews. I never get spam mail or too much advertising sent my way and I've been signed up for the tech newsletter since August of 2001. Great job guys keep up the good work.

I like the fact it is kinda tied in to cnet, so they have kind of the same feel and functionality and they have somewhat the same stuff. but they also have different preferances, cnet lieks and sponsors dell and zdnet is more towards gateway. that is wierd. and they have not updated thier reviews for a while and they seem to behind on soem brands like aiwa and adaptec. The site is fine so far as coding, but it could be better on some of the reivews. It runs under cnet for overall site performance. could use a breadcrum on the top so you are not confused as to where your coming form.

I see it mostly as a resource site for computer related things and I would list it under the "Services" sites. Whenever I try to find some exotic freeware or shareware program to make my life a bit easier ZDnet is the first place I go. So far, I haven't needed to go anywhere else beyond it, since I always find what I want. Also, it has some excellent written guides for buying different computer stuff. Together with RateItAll it has helped me make some really informed decisions on my purchases. A wealth of resources, with the download center being at the top of this cyber-goldmine.
