I'm embarrassed by the fact that the only local that made it on is a total HAWVerd idiot that has no purpose for being there but just sitting around without a strategy. Didin't even help Mike but stand around looking like a dumbass going, "Duh, Mike fell asleep in the fire. Um, what should we do?" Pathetic.

Okay... rarely do I eat my words, but I suppose this isn't the first time, or the last. So, I may have thought wrong about the whole social ramifications being relevant when it comes down to Nick. But one thing is for sure, they have portrayed ol' Nick as lazy, which he obviously is not according to his law firm and even his tribe mates. So what's up with that Mark? First you get an African American who really is lazy ie Gervase, and then you get one who is low key so that they can be portrayed as lazy! Whats your point Mark? Trying to be politically incorrect to boost the ol ratings? Shame on you. And as you can see, I have changed my rating to a 4, since I have seen Nick on interviews and such, I notice that he really is just a normal guy-- nothing extraordinary, with no cause that I can relate to. Plus he hasn't talked about the whole Gervase/Nick laziness portrayal connection being probably race-based. But he's young so he gets the benefit of the doubt. I was going to give him a 3, but he gets a 5 just on personality and looks alone!So, 4 out of 5, it t'ain't bad at all. Well, okay, for old times sake... Go Nick!

Not only is he extremely sweet EYE CANDY, he also has one heck of an impressive bio. I think that his "diving way below the radar" is proving to be an advantage for him at this point because no one seems to be thinking of voting him off just yet. Elisabeth is considered to be an even bigger threat than him, si I'm guessing he'll be the last man standing for Kucha. But still, he should start winning those immunity challeges or else it's goodbye eye candy for us...damn Ogakors.

Nick hasn't been developed very well on the show, so I can't particularly like or dislike him. The most we saw of him was leading his team in the blindfolded challenge. He seems like an OK guy and is obviously smart enough to have lasted this long.

Man you are going to have to sue the pants off of CBS for betraying you as a lazy bum, cause noone can believe you could realy have an attitude like that on a millionair show.

I just wanted to tell all of you people who's watching Survier, you're the BEST. I want to focus on Nick beacause he is the HOTTEST man I have ever seen in my hole life. He's cute, sweet and very, I'm Mean VERY VERY VERY SEXXXXY !!!! I know in my heart that HE will be the winner and before I leave, I have just one thing to say: I would give him much more then 5 stars, I rather give him a million

You seem like a nice guy and because you were in the Army you are okay in my books I hope you go far just don't be so god damn lazy get up and do some work you are as bad as Jarvis in the original survivor

Yo Nick, you've got an great additude, and are laid back, you're one of the few people I think deserves to win.

Nick is allright. He just doesn't put up with Jerri's me me me attitude.

He may be trying to fly a bit too far below the radar. He can count on his Kucha alliance (I think) however, if he continues to detach himself from the merged tribe, Ogakors may pick him off next..of course, anything can happen now and I am sure new alliances will be built.

I like how Nick jumped off that pole into the water, being the first to give up. I would have jumped off the silly thing in ten seconds though. He said he had been sick so he was smart to take a nap on the beach while the other fools wasted a lot of energy.

I am disgusted at how many people say Nick is lazy. I think most of these people must only be able to think in simplistic terms. If Nick were really that lazy he would have been voted off by now. In real life Nick has not one, but two jobs and they both require lots of physical stamina as well as mental stamina: 1) Army Officer 2) Harvard Law Student. How many of you judging Nick with a simple "lazy" do this much, and at those high of levels? If he were truly lazy he would not have made all that furniture or took the lead practicing for and being in the water pail challenge. And they won the challenge thanks to him. They should have been more grateful to him. And you can scoff at the furniture, but I would welcome it. As for him pretending not to hear when asked to do something-- he did this not because he was lazy but because he is a good, strong leader who knows his own mind- but also that others have to do what they think is best too. It doesnt mean he has to do it- and instead of making a big scene- Nick did the right thing by keeping things cool, but not giving in to other people telling him what to do. And- after everyone but Kimmi drooled about eating pork- Nick was the only one who helped Mike. Others had alligator tears about killing the meat, but sure dug in when it was served. Nick is not a hypocrite which is another of his many great qualities. I like how he also saw Kimmi's side, and put his strong arm around her to comfort her. And you could tell he was sincerely concerned and compassionate when Mike had his accident; he winced and cried at Mike's pain, knowing there was nothing they could do, but what the girls in the water were doing while waiting for help to arrive. Yes, he often hangs back from the others, but in a proper leadership role- not like Mike's controlling bossy type of leadership style. He is intelligent and strong to do this - NOT LAZY! Go Nick!!

He is subtle in his game skills and is laying LOW saving his strongest points for the true skills he will need in the game, So far a sneaky stratedgy. Can't wait to see all that he has up his sleeve.

I also agree that Nick is guilty of strategy, not laziness. He seems anything but dumb in allowing the other Kucha members to sort themselves out without committing to anything. It's wise because Kucha has been doing so well in the challenges, they have to live together for a while and if animosity develops now with anyone, it would be easy to be singled out. Nick is wise, not lazy.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nick turned out to be craftier than he has been appearing. I agree with Alicia that he's a "total player" but I disagree with her that this is a bad thing.

Those of you who think Nick is a hottie are absolutely correct....and he is even better in real life! Nick is a very intelligent man and has succeeded in everything he has ever attempted. He definitely has the skills necessary to win, he justs needs a little luck to push him along. Meanwhile, we can enjoy the scenery!

You are all gonna hate me for this but Nick is going to win. After all of the obnoxious and "sick" guys get voted off, Nick and the old dudes will be the only ones left. With his looks, size, and brains he is going to be the winner. After all, as far as leadership goes, he on track to be politician, one of the leaders that govern us in Real Life. Read it and weep.

I'll tell you, I'm so perplexed at all the folks who describe this dude as "lazy". I mean what's the word they use to describe all relaxing black men. Yup, you guessed it, lazy. Racism, has once again, reared it's ugly head. Remember Gervase? They called him lazy. He also lasted a while too. This dude is just biding his time. I've got a feeling he'll come through when it counts. He might be lounging around now, but he's just saving his strength. It's called strategy. Look into it! by the way, I'm a white dude!

Nick seems to be treating this "Survivor" mission as a leave from military duty. He's acting as if he's on vacation, just lounging out on his makeshift patio furniture and pretending not to hear others when he's spoken to. What in the world is he doing as a U.S. Army Officer? If all officers are as lazy and unmotivated as he is, then this world is in big trouble!

Lazy but will stick around because he will be good in challenges.

Nick seems to have a good attitude so far. As a US Army Officer he may have skills to survive. But, will he be able to deal with the challages this week. They will not be easy for anyone. Nick may have a chance, lets see how he does tommrow.
