Although he didn't win his first game until he was 25, Warren's 363 career victories are the most ever by a left hander and rank fifth on baseball's all-time list. He was a 14 time All-Star and he led the National League in strikeouts for four straight seasons starting in 1949.

When he was in his prime, he was as good as Koufax in LA (Sandy stunk with Brooklyn). His time in the army cost him about 30-40 wins.
