LOL? This one was the worst of the 3. Only good part was the scene where the airplane crashes. Very cheesy movie

too many sequels suck

3 and a half stars for more excellant special effects and action sequences. Lacking in plot, but who watches these types of films for plot anyway?

Well, plot has never exactly been a strength with this series. The special effects were decent, but the plot was totally ludicrous, and the acting was bad, too. There's 2 sequences you can laugh at though. One is on the plane there, where Sam Neill dreams that a raptor is talking to him. A second is when they find the cellphone in a huge pile of dinosaur turds, and suddenly a ceratosaur runs up and JUST looks at them before ambling off. Otherwise, it's awful.

I loved it! I'm a JP junkie. : ) Great effects and beautiful music. The plot was great, too, but it's far from matching up to the first JP. Beats the second by a mile, though. Long live Jurassic Park!!! Oh, and #4 is SUPPOSEDLY going to come out Summer, 2006, but they've been rescheduling the theatre realease date for some time. Bad news for those who hated the second JP: #4 is supposed to be about the dinos rampaging through North America. Let's hope they do a better job!

It was O.K steven spielberg didnt direct it so not its not as good as the first.

This movie was really sad. I think the main problem was that Michael Crichton didn't write this one.

pure crap. i cannot believe that the jurassic park saga has ended on this sad, sad note. and to think, the first movie was so good. i want my money back, and the next time i want to see a dinosaur movie, i will take out a camcorder and some toy dinos....surely i can do better than this.

This movie was very entertaining and fun to watch but the first one will always be the best.

It's mildly entertaining, to say the least. Some of JP3's inconsistencies in logic aren't as bad as many have perceived. Still, it's nothing special. And it made almost 200 million at the box-office, so...

Although the first one was much, much better, this film I found to be very entetaining. Of course, very, very, very few films will ever come close to being as good as the first JP, so I wouldn't mark tgis film down just because it's predesscor was better. This film had the best special effects out of the three, although it's plot lacked. The only thing that pissed me off aboput the movie was that Spinosaurus defeated the T-Rex. No way could that happen! Some finned- fish eater can't take thanimal wuith the strongest jaw in the history of thre world. That is a hard scene to swallow for me. But overall, this film did have what the 2nd lacked- Sam Niell. Niell is kinda of the man who makes JP what it is anyway. And plus Spielberg, the best filmaker ever without a doubt, didn't direct this, so you can't expect it to compete with the first one. The fourth movie is starting preproduction now, and some of you are already fretting. Spielberg has come up with the idea this time and Michael Crichton will most likely be writing it......so it will be good. Sam Niell is iun talks of returning to reprise his role as Alan Grant again, as are Jeff Golbloom and Richard Attenborough. Finally, that original cast reunited. And for those of you who say the series should be ended, in the Universal contract from like 1992, they is a total os six movies to be made. And if they sell well, they may just renew the contract for a further six film. I'll get back to "the series should be ended" at about Jurassic Park 12.

What is it with sequels never knowing when to stop, especially when large creatures are envolved. JAWS and Jurassic Park were fantastic movies, but there was absolutly no need to make more of them. The only reason I even watched this movie was because somebody was playing it in the room I was in. I never would have spent money to see this movie, and I'm glad I didn't.

I wasn't impressed with the first one, why would I even go to see any sequals?

This was absolutely awful. Why bother with another sequel. It lacked entertainment value, and I felt sorry for William H Macy. The incredible special effects helped to boost its rating, but there was no sense of danger, where was the suspense?????

This was a fun summer movie, but it really lacks alot of the excitement and high concept of the 1st one. (I've never seen Lost World). It seemed to me like it was just another dinosaur v. human movie that will make alot of money and generate some hype, but it just won't be hailed as a 'great motion picture'. And that is what JP III was. I enjoyed it, to be sure, but the concept was kind of weak.

I was surprised. After the extremely laughable shenanigans in JP2, I was expecting even less believeable plot lines and situations. I found this one to be better, however, and worth the price. Not a fabulous movie, but fun, with good special effects. (I read one of the scenes took 5 months to do 10 seconds!)

Pure entertainment. Not much of a brain food type of movie. Worth sneaking into after paying and watching something worth paying to see. Go see it for the spectacle, not for the subject or plot value. I still wish they had had the sence to leave Jurassic Park alone after the original.

This is the worst of the series. I mean, what do you expect from a triquil of a movie that wasn't that great anyway?

Don't do it... I fell victim to 'well, maybe the third one will be better than I heard the second one was'. The dinosaurs were pretty cool, I have to admit that, but wincing from the scary dinosaurs was not as bad as wincing at the pathetic plot and cheesy lines that came out of the characters' traps. I was sucked in because a buddy of mine wanted to go and see this, now he owes me one bad movie that I realy want to go and see. Please do not add fuel to the fire of a 4th edition ot this series.

Jurassic Park /// was pretty good. Not great but pretty good. The plot stunk but the effects and dinosaurs were awesome. Spinosaurs ruled in the movie. I heard they are making JP 4 already. I'll see it but it will be the same thing, get on the island, don't get killed and find away to get out.
