They have long sushi and sake menus. I spent an intense fifteen minutes trying to decide which sushis to get. Their vegetarian, tuna, and tempura sushis are good, but their ikura sushi was fishier and more bitter than I'm used to. I hear the service is usually fast, but they were slow to serve us when I came here for lunch.

I went to the flower festival in chinatown yesterday, but of course, i chose the Japanese restaurant over all the Chinese ones. The staff here is great and service is very fast. My friend dropped his chopstick and the waiter promptly gave him a new pair. They're good about refilling the ice water (a litmus test for restaurant service). Happy hour is from 3:30 - 6:30 - the drinks are half off and appetizers 25% off. My cousin ordered bacon wrapped shrimp (yuck). I got vegetable udon. It's the best I've had- they actually put the tempura in a separate plate so they don't get soggy. None of us ordered actual sushi, though next time I will definitely go back and order a roll. All of the food were very tasty and serving sizes are generous. The best part is that at the end, we each got a complimentary tiny scoop of ice cream - green tea or lychee flavored. I've never had lychee ice cream- it's soooo good and creamy. This will be my staple restaurant when I'm in chinatown!
