It's very simple to work with. Nice structure, also simple, for not so literate computer people.

I very much liked the ThinkPad because of the portability of a notebook, but I dislike the mouse controller eraser because it was too difficult to use.

IBM Thinkpad Notebooks are probably the best.

The Thinkpad is a little hard to use for me, since the pointing device is not a comfortable touchpad on a scroll-ball. The red thing in the middle is very hard to move the cursor.

Nice wide keyboard with a big screen. It's not too heavy and is reasonably priced. Great memory and power.

The IBM Thinkpad is a lightweight product in terms of weight only. It has great tools for the user to customize the notebook, plus has a long list of built in accessories at a very low price. Furthermore, IBM's upgrade policy makes your notebook completely upgradeable for a very low price.

I have a Thinkpad 560 which is very thin because the disk drives are external. The floppy drive came included, but I wish a CD Rom drive had been too. The thinness of the computer made it light and easy to transport. The A-C adapter cord was nice and long with velcro to tie it up tight. Although laptops aren't very upgradeable, everything worked well and I rarely had the computer crash as much as my desktop does. I liked the security feature that requires a password before windows loads. I felt that the speed was fine, but it could have had more space on the hard drive. All in all, I had very few problems with the IBM and the service was excellent and prompt for my problems.

I've had this notebook for a while and it hasn't given me any problems. It's not very heavy, so carrying it around isn't a burden.

Lots of power and versatility for a small package. Good online support and post-purchase customer service.
