Before Barack Obama, Powell was the only type of African American that I could have forseen our country would elect to put into the White Castle....A conservative/republican with military experience who led our troops during military victory during the Persian Gulf War. But as Numbah said his age is a negative factors now. I remember also back in 92 there was speculation that if George H. Bush dropped Dan Quayle from his ticket , Powell wold be a good choice to be his running mate to up his chances at being re-hired by the American peeps, althought it was unlikely Bush would drop Quayle.

Colin Powell would have been a good candidate in 2000, and would have had a decent chance of winning had he run. But he's in his 70s now, and will be too old in 2012.
