'alternate' woman his (Clinton's) popularity eventually rose after our nation saw the little Puritan hunt for what it was- a bastion of sexual frustration. It's a greater concern to me whether he can rule a country, and not so much on whether he can rule a woman.

No truth to this. Vera Baker (whoever the hell she is) could not be this hard-up. Impausible theory.

An extra-marital affair is never a good thing and always an embarrasment, but the American public seems to be willingly to forgive/look past and extra marital affair, and even more so for politicians. There is heavy tabloid speculation about President Obama's rumored affair with Vera Affair, but no concerete evidence has emerged and even if this affair took place, I don't think it effects Obama in a huge way, and I think Obama could thank Bill Clinton for his involement with Monica Lewinsky.
