Of all the guns I've shot over the past 50 years of active shooting, the Franchi 48 is the best for me. I have one in 20 gauge and 12 gauge. I wouldn't part with them.

im planning on buying a franchi al48 after i save up. It seems like a very good gun, light wheight, durable, would be a good gun for pheasents or any upland birds as well as on the clays course. I own a browning citori 20ga. and i love it and would like to add to my collection of o/u shotguns.

I have a .28 gauge AL48 and it is a joy to carry and shoot. Very light and responsive. Great gun for preserve hunts. It has beautiful wood and just feels like an extention of your arm.
