I thought it was a good movie. I had anticipated it being funny though after I saw the preview and I was a bit disappointed. It seemed as if it might be funny to me with her going to Minnesota and it being cold. She quickly found her love interest there after a quick I don't like him at first. It was kind of like an old movie. It was really kind of boring but not bad. I didn't like her supposed to be out to watch hunting but she didn't.

very predictable movie. has it's good scenes. Renee Zellweger's character "Lucie" is sent to a town in Minnesota to over see a factory that has been there for years. she is from Florida and is in Minnesota in the starting of winter. a typical "fish out of water" theme. where she starts out as the uppity yuppie who grows to care about the town folk. of course there is the guy who she does not get along with and that changes. the actors are fine. Renee Zellweger is good, so is Jk simmons. and Harry connick jr. and others. pretty easy to guess the outcome of this movie. okay for a rental. in the special features there was a documentary of the filming which was actually in Winnipeg Canada where the weather could get as cold as 50 below zero. wow! I thought Michigan could get cold.
