This company has friendly customer service reps....if you can reach them. When I first got the service, I noticed my computer slowed down considerably. I was unable to reach customer service, which had a recording that told me that I'd have to call back some other time. I also called the admin. number and had to leave a message. I called again the next day and left another message. When someone called me back, she was apologetic and offered $80 worth of free gas coupons.

The coupons arrived shortly thereafter, but had to be filled out and mailed to another company. THREE MONTHS after mailing them, I got a letter from that company congratulating me and saying now I just needed to send them the receipt for my product. I had no receipt as I had bought the Cyberfdefender product via phone. I had only a credit card bill as proof. Calling the coupon company, they said that would not do,and I should ask Cyberdefender for a receipt. I called Cyberdefender but they could not provide one and said my credit card bill should be enough.......I gave up.

About 8 months later, my computer was slowing again. Someone said it may have a virus. I called CYberdefender support. The recording said it was experiencing "higher than expected call volumes"....the same recording I got 8 months early. SHouldn't they be expecting those call volumes after a year of experiencing them??? The wait time was 20 minutes, they said, so I should go to the website and use the chat function, they said. I went to the site, clicked on chat, and got a msg. saying they were busy,and to leave a note. I left a note. The next day I tried again...went through the same thing. 1. call. 2. website, leave note. 3. nothing.
Next day, same thing. This went on for eight straight days....I never reached anyone.
Bought a new computer. COuld not reach CYberdefender to ask to transfer the prepaid service for the remaining four months.
I gave up and wrote off the money I paid them as a loss.
