New Earth Online, which covers a variety of tech-related topics, is home to excellent, concise writing and well editorialized content....a rarity in the increasingly self-involved tech blogosphere rampant with over-publishing as of late. The writer, David G. Paul, is well-informed and updates the blog quickly in light of interesting news, but not to an overwhelming degree. New Earth Online is one of the few rss feeds where i don't skip articles en masse with Google Reader's convenient "mark all read" feature.

The site also includes extensive tutorials in the articles section, and fantastic film reviews in a separate section. These are kept isolated from the main feed, but make sure to check them out when you visit the site. Solid writing all around.
