I try to get on this spades game,lots of time there will be over a 1000 playing,the server wont let me on,this morning was the last straw,so I,m asking,there is 378 people playing,it says ( go) I go play at pogo for a bit,go back to zone,guess what? there is over 450 playing,it says (go)again,so others have got on,still not me,what gives? A TOTALLY pointless site since the changes. All those other sites (yahoo, pogo) didn't get any better, and imho they still kind of suck, but nothing, NOTHING, compares with how bad the new zone sucks now.

Since the changes made last year, the site has gone from the best site to the worst. The new site has basically destroyed its reputation as an online gaming community. And we didn't even get any thanks for using the old one! Now, the difficulty in using the new site, plus the fact that the site now has no lobbies makes the site hardly worth bothering with. Whenever you will use it, you are vulnerable to being abused because it now incorporates nothing to help you deal with abusers, stallers, or cheats. It is even a problem for those who don't have perfect vision because the graphics are very hard on the eyes. You can't even get any technical support now. I'm thinking of giving up MSN completely. With such little thought put into the new setup, over the old one which was so amazing, why should anybody trust or stay with MSN? At the end of it all, I am left bashing my head against the wall in desperation that a site this bad could have been developed and put in place of such a wonderful gaming community. Please, PLEASE avoid this site.

I can hardly ever find any games to play on my IMAC (OS X) and even on PCs it's slow and a bit limited. I'd give this site two more stars if I could access the games on my IMAC.

I dont like this game site to much because when ever you try to play the free version of Jepeardy, there is only one player competing and the game is only half as long as the real game. I havent really explored much of zone.com that much but what i have seen of it I dislike.

I go to the www.zone.com all the time,I also like to chat over there,and I like the net passport to chat.

Nice choice of games and always a ton of people to challenge. This is where I'd start if you are new to online gaming since they have very few bug's to worry about.

This is a cool site. I love playing Outsmart and other games like that. It keeps me busy for awile!

MSN is my "at-work diversion". Whenever I'm bored I just click over to play a great round of mindless yet entertaining tetra-esque games. What I don't like (and hence the loss of a star) is their rating system. For Spades, Hearts and other Rated games the ranking system is nice but there is a glaring loophole. If you're loosing and you don't want it to negativly impact your ratings, you just disconnect leaving the people who just rightfully beat you left having wasted an hour without any reward. Also adding monopoly would be great.

A. The new setup and B. The .Net stuff ruined the old, wonderful Zone. Still the only place to play many games, what with the demise of mplayer.com and heat.net, but.....eh.

Yuno the Zone would be a much better site if they didn't just throw you and and leave you to fend for yourself. If everything is working, then it is fine, but if something goes wrong, or if you get idiots being jerks and mouthing off you have LEAVE your game and go sit in a help room line for at least 30 minutes before you get any help. Only advantage is that you can use this site for multiplayer games like Mechwarrior and other big game titles. However, if you are looking for just FREE games, you are better to goto a site like pogo.com where they care more about what happens on the site.

Out of all the sites I have tried (granted, I haven't tried all of them,) the Zone is the best I've found. There is variety in the choices of games, plus you aren't bombarded with banner ads 24/7. I play euchre and the Zone has the best euchre setup (Yahoo's is the worst) and I've come to "know" quite a few folks there, even knowing when they are on thanks to the Zone's "Zone Friends" IM pkg. Kudos, I won't go back to uproar or yahoo again, not when I can play games fronm checkers to spades in one place...the ZONE!
