I have the HP 1012, which is actually part of the 1100 line. Very reliable, fast, inexpensive to operate, QUIET, and apparently supported by a very responsive customer support team. This is the first time in about 10 years that I've trusted HP with my money again, and this time I have been very impressed with all aspects of HP printing.

Resolution is extremely clear. Has the free configuration for different types of documents. Ease of use.

It is easy to change the toner, easy to fix when the paper jams, and easy to fix minor problems.

This is a number 5 printer because of the high quality color it provides for me at home when I'm printing pictures for my Art History class. I can see everything bright and clear.
