Cheap..but INK is so expensive..try dropping $45 for both a black and color cartridge (with tax) every time you run low..which is pretty frequent..so for an initial $100 printer..expect to pay approx $50 a month in a new ink cartridges and add as a a new monthly add to your regular monthly expenses. Quality is good. Reality Check: to have this printer will cost you $700 by the end of the year..at least!!!

Sometimes I think the price is too high, but the product is really excellent. So if the price is lower it will be great.

This has a grand price and it does everything that you need to do. But it doesn't have color.

The printer is good, excellent quality print, usually no problems. The only thing is that the printing process could be slow.

This laser printer is one of the best I've seen, the HP tech support group is also awesome. Even though the price was fairly steep, I would suggest it to someone who wanted quality, reliability and the whole deal in one package.

I have this printer at home and I like it. It works great. It has not broken down yet so that's a good sign.

As I recall, I used this laser printer in high school. The quality was good, but when toner ran low, pages would streak and be uneven. It also would not respond sometimes when told to print.

I have a friend who just bought a HP Laser Jet 3100 Series. He showed me how to use it and printed pictures. They came out so cool. It's great, no noise and less ink consuming.

We have a HP LaserJet 3100 at work and it has a lot of positives. Our model is a printer/fax/scanner/copier combo which makes it very useful. It was also moderately priced, making it a nice value for a printer with all of those features. It is hooked up to a network and services 7 computers pretty smoothly. The toner recently ran out after a great deal of printing and it was simple to change the cartridge. Lastly, it prints about 8-10 pages/minute, quick enough for a small business which doesn't need to rely on a tremendous amount of printing. My only complaint is the paper tray. It is not very big and the output often comes out crooked.

This number 5 printer is the one at my job on campus which prints from all 8 computers on the job. It has great color and gives quality prints of work orders and internet subjects and pictures.

Great little machine, but it could user more system memory. I have had faxes rejected when someone was printing, because the machine ran out of memory space. All in all, a pretty good machine!
