I don’t know what that other reviewer was thinking, but the Mighty Bright DOES NOT use LED light bulbs. It is called MIGHTY BRIGHT because the light is focused where you need it, and it seems “mighty bright.” And these bulbs are VERY hard to locate. In my quest to find them, I actually bought an LED light bulb which fit, but which flashed out from too much voltage within 5 seconds. (Dumb me, huh?) I went to three stores to find them, including the bookstore where I originally purchased my mighty bright and could not find them anywhere locally. Was delighted (no pun intended) to find them here! love my clip on light, it is so light weight and the arm very flexible, it is easy to hold my kindle for long periods, would recomend it highly

hi ,I read often in the car (as a passenger)& @ nite most often , this light is an awsome light , very convient, easy to accomidate diff. books ,not to bright (sleeping people,near)low & high . it truely is worth the price ,also light weight , neck is very bendy & stays put when you direct it.

Ordered two of these lights to use with our Kindles, but discovered that they also work great for magazines. The clip is wide and strong and now we can sit on our patio at night and read magazines or our Kindles with no problem. The light is too bright on high for reading, but the low setting is just right. I have also found the unit works great on high when looking in the undercounter cabinet in the kitchen or bathroom to find something. This is a great multi-purpose light.

Since the Kindle has no back light, I ordered the XtraFlex 2 Clip-on light. It works ok, a little bulky but gets the job done. I would recommend this for night or low light reading.
