It is great

I really liked it, prior to Windows XP. After installing XP, and reinstalling the software for my AcerScan 620P, it no longer registered the driver; nor did it after changing the configuration of windows to match 98/ME for the software. If anyone knows how, I would appreciate a response.

Affordable price point. I like the software that it comes with (Adobe Limited).

This scanner works really well. It produces very good detailed scannings. It is easy to use and does not take up a lot of space.

For a scanner in this price range, I'd expect much more. It was good in the beginning but as I used it more and more, the quality of the scan depreciated. I would recommend the IBM series which has a really good DPI and quality.

Acer was able to improve greatly from their 300 series. More user friendly and easier to use. It was easy to access past scans and view a sample picture without actually opening the entire scan up. This series provides good detailed scans, and can scan and save most items in under two minutes. I highly recommend the series!

If you're looking for good quality scanners, AcerScan 600 works pretty well. It does pictures at high DPI, so you won't get weird distorted colors etc.
