This company is not honest. It looses things you send it and then bills you. It says it did not receive my rebate. It also says it didn't receive a hard disk my cousin sent back after their fifth (yes, 5th) mistaken attempt to send him a replacement part for something that broke (he finally gave up) and is billing him for it. If you MUST buy Gateway, don't buy direct, but rather from a reputable store where you can take the product in if something is wrong.

I think they freakin SUCK because 13 months after I bought the computer it FRIED! And they dont even make the part that needs to be replaced! DO NOT BUY A GATEWAY PROFILE 4! NEVER!

Gateway is the Best. I went through 3 dells at my job in 18 months. They are Juck. I have Gateway for my home PC and never had problems with it, and there coustmer support is A1 there call canter is in the US , Compared to Dells which is in INDIA.

The Windows operating system on PC's is a cumbersome, awkward design for accessing info. Newer PC systems that have AOL onboard are annoying and create conflicts during setup with an ethernet network. Processing speed is slow compared to Mac systems.

This is a very good valued computer compared to other brand name desktops. They have good tech support, the computer is very fast and comes with a large amount of educational software for both adults and children.

This system needs a lot of work. They must be using used parts to produce these units. I have the Profile desk top and the motor in the hard drive broke down in Six (6) weeks. The service dept is not helpfull.Sales dept states one thing, service dept another. I am very sorry to have purchaes this system. The statment "People rule" is a joke.

I like it because they usually have the lastest stuff and I can build my computer with what I want. The prices are great too.

This computer is perfect for people that love to surf the Internet. More than one window is perfect. This computer is also perfect for storing gif. files for pic's on the web-and great for building web sites.

I like the affordability of the Gateway series and the performance is great. Also, there are limitations, no Netscape.
