Compact, portable, very useful. Not the lightest notebook so if you are looking for something light this isn't it! Also, floppy discs are external so it might be a hassle to carry around.

This notebook is just the best notebook on the market. It's active matrix screen is very easy on your eyes and does not reflect sunlight like the Dell notebooks, for instance. It comes loaded with USB in addition to your standard ports, can be had with a docking station and an RCA video plug (optional). Battery life is exceptional. On transatlantic flights in economy class you usualy only have to bring 1-2 batteries along with you. The A20 and T20 are its successors but the 700 is still state of the art.

IBM is a good computer. It has great features and works great. It is high quality. Big businesses use IBM Thinkpads.

It's thin, light, powerful and black! What else would you need from a notebook? As almost any other IBM product, this one is well made and cannot be broken easily. The price is a little steep, but because of superb quality you'll get back every penny.

I did not use to like IBM products but the Thinkpad series was so powerful and looked so great I saw IBM products differently from then on!

You can't go wrong with an IBM. Solid, strong performing computer that is in the forefront. Good customer service, and quality parts. If you're going to spend the money why not go with a name you can trust ( and an American company to boot!)

This laptop is not only nice looking, but it is capable of performing many functions. It comes with all the basic software: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and enables the users to go online. This Notebook is costly however, but very useful. Not a necessity, but if you can afford it, buy it.

In the notebook series, the IBM thinkpad 700 is good because it has the Intel pentium processor.

The Thinkpad 700 is a good computer. The one thing I don't like is the mousepad. Like many other notebooks-it's inconvenient. However, I don't have any problems with it.

The thinkpad 700 made some improvements over the previous models. However it is not as easy to use.

IBM is not bad. my roommate has this one. It seems too work well.
