Ward Burton

Ward Burton is the reason I hung with NASCAR so long, he is an inspiration on and off the track. Wish he could hook up with a quality ride again soon, if not then hope his wildlife dreams all come true.

Ward is the BEST driver ever on and off the track!

I like to start out to say.. My feeling toward Ward are very greatful. He was a big help in changing my life around. I was a drunk and drug addict until one Sunday I heard the most amazing accent in the world, wasnt into watching people race cars.. but now I am hooked... I was a long haul Truck Driver... and chased Ward from race to race... in hopes to thank him for how he helped me.. but never got the chance to meet him in person. I feel Ward should be in ride, where he is capable of showing off his great driving talent. Would like to see Ward with Gibbs,Evernham or Yates Motor sports... As far as I see it any ride with a big name would be better than what he has been in before.. He deserves to get with a good team and one that is able to back up his great driving ability. As long as god gives me a breath.. Ward will always have a true fan here!!! Thanks Ward for changing my life for the better.. !!! Still hope to meet Ward in person one day!!!

Ward Burton is one of those most decent drivers to ever race in Nascar. A man of his word and very loyal. He never got caught up in all of the media hype either. He deserves a good ride again. I miss him on the track. I am is shock that he has not been offered a ride yet (decent one that is.) He has proven his ability in 2nd rate rides. If he decides to walk away quietly into the sunset I will respect that. I will miss him greatly though. I could not have chosen a better person to be a fan of for the last 10 years. Hey Rousch and Penske. Need a driver to fill a seat for a year. Does the name Ward Burton ring a bell???!!!

Ward is a great person, look how loyal he was to Bill Davis and then got shafted!!!!! He has won at some of the harder tracks, Rockingham, Loudon, Darlington (twice) and the Daytona 500. He deserves more respect than he has received. Hoping some car owner will realize that soon, before it is too late. I am a Ward fan still waiting to see him out there racing again!!!!!

A great candidate for being the most deserving driver, but the most UNDER-RATED, also. He proved himself repeatedly in the Busch series working for an under-financed team and then again in the cup series. Why someone with money and backing don't give him a ride is beyond me. Guys like Petty and Ganassi must be completely out of their minds for not scooping him up. I mean, who in their right mind would choose a loser like Mike Skinner or Jeff Green to drive for them instead of Ward. Ward has numerous wins in the cup series. Gannassi would rather go with Casey Mears simply because of his famous last name than score wins with talented drivers. Hey Ward! Maybe you can talk Rusty into giving you a ride in his Busch car!

It's a shame he doesn't have a Cup ride this year. I hope he comes back.

He has his peaks and valleys but hey, he won the Daytona 500. He should be a voice over for a King Of The Hill character. I love this guy's accent. Good attitude. Even when he threw his helmet at Jr. during Bristol....funny stuff!!

I like this guy! Never used to be able to understand a thing he said, but he's nice and a good driver.

My personal favorite. Ya gotta love the accent. He may not be the Best, but needs funds.
