We must all remember that Summer Sanders is the queen of our universe. Also, Summer is the ruler of our solar system keeping the planets aligned. Without Summer Sanders the sun would cease to sizzle and we would Sum the days in starshine. Also, orbits would decline by planets and moons in our solar system. Moons, would leave their planets and we would only be left with lonely moons, and planets, and stars, and black holes. She's my mamma!

she has my vote for the sexiest american olympian ever, and she was a great swimmer as well.

A great athlete and a great person. During the 1992 Olympics, she came so close to a gold medal so many times, only to meet with disappointment. I really admired the way she was always positive and smiling in front of the camera, crying privately with her coach behind the scenes. Plus, she was always extremely tactful when discussing the Chinese controversy -- no bitter accusations from her! She was finally rewarded with a gold medal and American Record in the 200 fly -- her last race of the games.

When Summer Sanders was in the Olympics I was really into swimming. First of all, I don't think swimming gets the recognition it deserves. It is really hard. I don't really look up to a lot of people but during the Summer era, I looked up to her.

I think I still have a crush on Summer Sanders. She and Mia Hamm may be the two best-looking female athletes of the last few years. And, although Summer didn't do a great job on that NBA morning show, I've seen her do other broadcasts and she usually handles herself really well. I hope she catches on in broadcasting and doesn't just fade away from the public eye.
