 | Alkycanuck (0) 11/16/2004 | Her rivalry on tour with serena is the most entertaining to watch, there always filled with drame Ex. quarterfinals of the U.S open, great forehand and love when she thinks a line is called against her she argues with the umpire.

 | AndrewScott (71) 11/18/2003 | I've loved her since she burst on the tennis scene as a lovably cute 13-year-old and amazingly stormed her way through the first big tournaments she played. Suffered much-chronicled growing pains, only to completely transform herself from near disaster by remarkably taking her first three major titles in a short stretch of time, a decade later. She has still proven vulnerable to the occasional mental collapse when trying to close out a high stakes match victory, but is always considered a contender to capture any major tournament she plays in. Her story of personal redemption after hitting rock bottom remains inspirational, especially for those who have struggled with living up to expectations and potential.

 | CLAUDIO (0) 04/09/2003 | JENNIFER CAPRIATI will always be the very BEST tennis player the world has ever seen. She's has been by far the most successfull and the finest example both on and off the tennis court/media.
She's very beautiful and energetic and always fun to watch. No tennis player today could compete with her. A definite future Hall of Famer and she will win other more Grand Slams and become number one again.

 | Jason1972 (3) 11/18/2002 | She's definitely the comeback kid of women's tennis. She cracked herself out hitting rock bottomed and came back during the latter 90's into the millenium proving that she still has game in her.

 | hidurability (0) 04/24/2002 | She is a poor sport. Always complaining about line calls and never seems to be enjoying the game. She has made a great comeback but it cannot compare to combacks other sportspeople have made from real adversity (see Monica Seles)

 | sforest11 (0) 07/08/2001 | Jennifer Capriati has done well to win both the Australian and French Opens back to back. Her down fall when she was young was due to expectation being too high. I hope she can overcome that now with her loss at Wimbledon. There are too many good players at there for any one person to truly dominate.

 | Munson (7) 06/07/2001 | It is so great to see Capriati back at the top of the women's game. Everyone talks about the Williams sisters, Kournikova and Hingis, but it is Capriati who is playing the best tennis in the world right now. She always had the talent and power, but now she has matured so much. Win or lose on Saturday in the French Open final, she will be the fan's choice at the next two Grand Slams.

 | Wiggum (16) 05/15/2000 | Good for Capriati - she flamed out (no pun intended), hit the bottom, then dusted herself off and built her game back up to world-class status again. I have a lot of respect for that.

 | der6805du (0) 01/11/2000 | She's worked hard to become her own person (away from her family) and to regain her standing in the tennis world. She deserves respect for what she has accomplished!
