I never saw him play. I guess he's ok! ................................................... ..........not! ha ha ah!

I've been an Agassi fan for many years. He inspired me to pick up a tennis racket. He's been so much fun to watch on the court for so many years. He is a class act both on and off the court. The tennis world will greatly miss Andre, and so will I.

I was planning to say a little about his game and what makes his special but after reading a few of the negative reviews attached, I think I will address those who don't really know much about the man, the player or the game itself. For someone to say Agassi is arrogant or sucks or isn't nice doesn't know much about him. I played Agassi when I was playing college tennis in San Diego. I was 20 years old and he was 14. He beat me in straight sets and I knew he was going to be great. The fact that he is only one of a rare few to win on all four majors on all four surfaces speaks for itself. I also happen to know Brad Gilbert (married a friends sister) and I know Agassi through him. Agassi is one of the nicest guys you'll meet. He stays after his matches and signs autographs for kids, sometimes for a couple of hours. Early in his career he had long hair and wore flouresant spandex. So what! I had long hair and wore a Rush t-shirt. Does that make me suck?? Agassi also gives alot to charity and alot to kids.
Something I'm sure those negative reviewers below don't do. I guess Theodore Roosevelt had it righ when he stated:

ANDRE AGASSI will always be my favorite tennis player. I remember when he came out at age of 18. He was flamboyant, spontaneously energetic, and full of drama and passion which made him of KING of POPULARITY. An eye-opener who gave tennis a fresh new look with his blazing forehand, fiery hair and loud grunts. He was in the Heart of 80's generation where Image is Everything. And when he wins, nobody celebrated as exciting as Andre Agassi. Today, he's still the King of Pop, but a champion in several tournaments and grandslams. He still continues to win and show-off his new trophies. Andre Agassi, a Champion of our TIME.

Only modern player to win the GS Leaves an incredible legacy on & off the court. Hope he gets to #1 one more time! Will he & wife ever play doubles who knows it sure would be fun! OK so Pete has the best record but who else could come from the pits and reach the top only AA You rock!

He is 30 years old and still going strong. Just saw him win the Australian Open, proving he is still one of the most feared players in the sport.

I started liking him after he is linked with Steffi Graf I think his games improved a lot after being Steffi's husband. Keep it up

I LOVE him! 31 and still going strong---that's really impresive. And in eighteen years or so, I am really looking forward to hearing about Andre Jr., coming in either November or December depending on which paper you believe, at his first Wimbledon. Goran Ivanisevic deserved to win, but I hope Agassi wins another one. He's really worked for it. But please, Andre, get rid of that stupid earring. It's getting on my nerves. #1 male tennis star of today.

agassi is all time super star in tennis. he got great come back than any one. he one of the great showman in the sports. one of the hardest hitter of the ball. there is no comparision for his serve retern. i wanna to see him to play as long as he can and i wish him to have nice up comeing opens.

I LOVE Andre he's the reason I started watching Tennis in the first place he is normaly a gracious loser but after yesterdays tirade at Wimbldon I'm lowering my opinon of him a little. Ya lost dude no need to be nasty about it.

The best return of service in the game, and a ferocious groundstroker. His rivalry with Sampras is one of the most entertaining in sports, and his charisma makes him fun to watch. It is amazing to see him do so well on grass - a surface usually reserved for the big serve and volley guys. His ability to compete on any surface is a tribute to his focus, intensity, and competitiveness. Amazingly, he doesn't seem to have lost a step - even at the ripe old age of 31.

Andre Agassi is a great tennis player. He has a teriffic return and he has a knock-out back hand. He has come along way in the past years. He knows how to work the court and wear out who is he is playing. He knows how to really finish a match. He is just a great player and he really inspired me to take up the sport of tennis. I wish him the best of luck in the upcoming years!

Agassi is one of the most energetic and awesome players out there. He is my second favorite player. Sampras is the best but he is so good that it is almost boring to watch. Agassi is good and so energetic that he is fun to watch over and over again. Of course if it comes down to Agassi or Sampras -- Sampras wins hands down.

Andre is awesome. I find it pretty amazing that someone his age could do that well in tennis. He always plays with his heart and that is why he wins!

Andre has truly been great for tennis. He's an outstanding player, has broken records and accomplished things that no one will ever be able to take away from him. His personality and style of playing are entertaining and have drawn attention to the sport that otherwise may not have been there. Bottom line: Andre rocks!

Andre Agassi has given tennis what no other player in recent history has... attention. Whether you love him or hate him, he has drawn fans that otherwise would have written off tennis as a boring, snooty sport. In short, the tennis world is in great debt to Andre. The real beauty if his tennis career is that what started as flamboyancy has evolved into poetry. He is a smart, talented player and well worth watching.

Andre AGASSI, Inspires all young tennis players male or female. His adverse game and determination is second to none.His sensitivity should be as all professional tennis players should have.He concern for others makes him a true role model. His tennis game is awesome and exciting. I am very happy for Agassi in finding a person like Steffi Graff to make him complete. I wish him and his family all the best.

The man is not only an extraordinary tennis player, anyone who witnessed his courtesy to Patrick Rafter in the fifth set of the Austalian Open semifinals knows that Andre Agassi is a mature, considerate fellow athlete of which the USA can be proud. What a gentleman in such a competitive world.

One of the greatest players ever. not boring

Agassi is definitely the most entertaining male tennis player out there right now. Unlike Sampras, who is extremely talented but has both a boring game and a boring personality, Agassi injects a little life into the sport. His on-again off-again game has been all over the place, but, when he is focused and in shape, he can beat anyone, including Sampras. And his style of play is far more fun to watch than the blink-and-you-missed-it one-serve points we typically get from Sampras. It has also been entertaining to watch Agassi mature from his cheesy long-hair late 80s phase into his current shaved-head Steffi Graf phase. I'd like to see Agassi challenge Sampras in Grand Slam finals for at least a couple more years before they're both sent out to pasture.

He has the unique talent of being behind and then putting that extra effort and winning, when the announcers have already called the match to someone else.

Back in the days when Agassi was doing all of those Minolta ads (or whatever they were) I gotta say I wasn't such a big fan of the person/image he had going. I liked his game but just thought he seemed a bit cocky as I suppose many professional athletes tend to (and maybe need to) be. Then he dropped off the map, played a few tournaments, showed up looking fat and slow, getting beaten in the first few rounds and just looked like a whipped puppy, with Yoko, I mean Brooke putting on her "are the cameras aimed at me yet? I love you and good luck face" in the stands. Well, whether it was his choice or not finally got past that part of his life and looks like, and plays like someone who finally grew up and realized what he really wants to do and is good at and is finally doing it!! Good for you Andre. Besides, Brooke is such an awful actress how did he bear coming home and night and seeing her series and having to force compliments out. That alone must have been gutt wrenching.

Andre is playing the best tennis of his life. His time was invested in Brooke too much - now he can get back to where he was before she came into his life.

Agassi has been up for so long. Only for a short period did he lose any party of his game.

Abdre Agassi has his own personal style that is quiote refreshing in a game that is often times unemotional.
