He is the most talented player to rise in the tour in the past years(i think more than Agassi). Unfortunately, he got to the top too fast, and for that, he lost the love for the game. Remember that he has 18 titles, including 5 different Masters Series(Rome, Indian Wells, Miami, Hamburg, Stuttgart). He was the first player to win back-to-back Masters Series titles(Indian Wells, Miami 1998).He was a runner up at the 1998 Australian Open. And he is a former number 1 player in the world. But i think that the biggest problem of his life have been the injuries. After his spectacular 98 season he had several injuries, who also, made him lost the energy for being more.Adding this problems to his mind, he went down. Marcelo is my idol, he is so talented. Ask Agassi about that, or Gaudio or Coria; this last two fans of Marcelo.

So much wasted talent. Never has won anything himself, but feels it necessary to degrade the female players. No class.

This dude is awesome...if he can improve his skills, he could easily dominate.

This guy is spoiled!!!! First of all, his tennis career is in the pits right now because of his stupid attitude. He might actually be as good as he was in 1998 and 1999 if he lost the look-down-at-you-because-you're-worthless attitude. And just to show how spoiled he really is, Marcelo outdid himself when he refused to play in the 2000 Sydney Games, because he was not going to be the country's flagbearer. Now that's someone with a good attitude! Poor Marcelo! Maybe now he'll decide to become the player that he has the potential to be, but I'm not holding my breath.

The most exciting player out of Latin America since Guillermo Vilas, Rios is very talented and very cocky. My take is that his game still needs to catch up with his attitude.
