Goldberg is da man I don't care what anybody says. His character in WWE was poorly portrayed by Vince McMahon who in my opinion is losing his touch. His character in WCW is what made him a star and made him the fastest rising star in the history of the company. Goldberg may have not been the greatest technician in the world but he didn't need to be. He gave you cold chills every time you saw him dominate somebody and finish them off with a jackhammer. Watch for Goldberg in TNA, if this happens it may just start another Monday Night War.

Goldberg is overrated dudes. Most of Goldberg's matches were 2-5 minute squash matches. The crowd started chanting "boring" at his matches.

He was in the right place at the right time. He had the look. It was fun while it lasted but obviously it's all over.

There was a wrestler named "Goldberg!" I would have loved him!

Didn't impress me and can't beleive that they gave him a world tittle not once, but twice.

Great athlete (played NFL Football for the Falcons) and decent wrestler. But lacked the pizazz of the likes of Macho Man or Superstar Graham. I only wonder if Goldberg's Jewish parents would brag about their son at temple and say, My son, the grappler.

The only guy today that I believe is as tough outside the ring as his persona inside the ring. To bad big daddy Vince had to let his ego and the past get in the way. Goldberg could have saved a sinking ship.

Bill goldberg is the biggest joke to ever enter wrestling besides brock lesner.He made it fine in wcw but thats not saying much.When he came to the wwe he was in the ring with the big boys and couldnt handle it.What in the world was wwe thinking to bring him in is beyound me.Then to give him the title oh please the man sucks.Im just glad he is gone and hopefully will never see him again in the wrestling buisness.I mean he sucks so bad that he is trying to put it off on the wwe.Hey goldberg sucks all on his own he doesnt need no help.Goldberg just stay gone.

Goldberg has the potential to be an All-time great. But does he have the drive & love for the business to do it?? I doubt it. He seems more interested in making himself look like an unbeatable monster than putting over other performers. Here is a tip G-man. Spend some time reviewing the career of Undertaker & you might learn a thing or two. Then we'll see how good you really are.

better skills in the ring than hogan,more charismatic than bret,better phsyical apperance than savage and better mike skills than andre,and those are the top four wrestlers.i will admit that he could actually improve on those as he really needs to

I'll admidt I lost cable before goldberg lost the heavyweight belt (which if i remember right he gained on TV-thanks to hogan not wanting to loose it on PPV). When he debuted against hugh morris he was pretty limited on his ability. It was fun to watch him learn and roll over peopel as the unstoppable force. The gladitorial music REALLY helped add to that. I think things changed when the music did for him. If they had kept the old music i think he wouldve progressed better.

Couldn't make it in football and couldn't make it as a Hogan wannabe (no!! I get to win EVERY time!) Sloppy in the ring and never took the whole business seriously.

i would give him one star, but when i saw him "wrestle" live he wasnt that bad... probably cause im from australia and i hadnt gotten tired of his crappy squash matches yet. they did pipe in the "goldberg" chant though. this was in 2000 after they had supposedly stopped doing it so that was pretty funny.

A completely one demensional performer. He was alowed to squash his opponents because he didn't know how to wrestle more than a three minute match and that became his gimmick. His "streak" was a gross lie. He even lost to Steve McMichael on Nitro before the fans started paying attention. WCW pumped a recorded Goldberg chant in to the sound system - that's where the whole Gillberg joke got its start in WWF. He's also a complete jerk with his co-workers - trust me. Overrated and burning bridges with the WWF at every turn. If he does make it to Stanford Vince will probably bury him out of spite.

I think Goldberg would have beaten all of the old timers in their days

Wrestlers like goldberg are too commercialize therefore recieving higher rating compare to classic wrestlers.
