Should have been a top guy. Excellent and marketable worker.

I remember him as a U.S title holder who lost the belt to killer brooks who sold the belt to larry zybysko.I always liked his performance but after losing the belt he left for the w.w.e. and the rest is history.

I hated Mr. Wonderful as a little kid. But as an adult, I've come to appreciate Paul Orndorff as one of the better WWE wrestlers ever. His piledriver was brutally efficient, and his arrogance was perhaps second only to Rick Rude. But what separates this wrestler from many others was his knack for getting the crowd to react. He was a heel, and played it like only a few ever could. Orndorff should have held the WWE title at least once.

I remember hating this guy. Being a Hulkamaniac as a kid, I hated Orndorff because he was always turning on Hogan. This guy was a pretty good heel who feuded with Hulk Hogan and sold out arenas across the country. The best match of his career, though, was beating up Vader backstage and running him out of WCW.

Great performer. Injuries cut short an eventful career.

My early wrestling memories include him feuding wiht the Andersons and Mr. Wrestling II. Very entertaining, and he's the first guy I remember thinking looked tough - not as many muscles as Tony Atlas, but good combo of muscles and ugly.

Having been a Pro-Wrestling fan for the better part of 30 years, Mr. Wonderful is one of the greats I have had the pleasure of watching most of my life. No, He wasn't the greatest, but to stand the test of time is an accomplishment in itself.

And he in turn had stolen his elbow drop from Dusty Rhodes "Bionic Elbow" of the late seventies...

The man kicked Vader's butt in the locker room and sent him packing to Japan! His "Boogie-Woogie Electric Elbow" was lifted by the Rock and renamed "The People's". Better mic skills would have made this guy a huge star.
