Hogan was/is simply overrated and overhyped who never would have held the title as long as he did the first time if he had to defend it against Ricky Steamboat. Leave it to Hogan to duck the best!

I do not care for "PRO" wrestling, as I think it is lame and stupid. But to each their own. And if I was too rate Hulk Hogan as a role model, I would rate him 5 stars as he is a good human being with a heart. And if people insist on letting their children watch this garbage, at least they still have Hulk Hogan in the industry to look up too as the rest of em are HORRID role models who should just give it up.

Hulk Hogan is a legend, and under the list of all-time wrestlers, he certainly gets five stars for revolutionizing the business singlehandedly. However, unfortunately, he has joined Ric Flair's Club of Washed-Up Old Guys who just need to throw in the towel. Have oyu seen how slowly he delivers his signature leg drop now? It's horrible! I really am starting to like him less and less the more I see him. He'd be great in a non-wrestling capacity, but having a man this old highlighting enarly ever pay-per-view is horrible. He must realize that by sticking around he is tarnishing his reputation. The longer he sticks around, the more people will remember him simply as the man who would not go away.

Pro wrestling still *exists?* No wonder Jerry Springer does so well... Anyways, Hogan needs to try wrestling on the nursing home circuit.

OK, first of all he was losing his hair when he first started wrestling. Imagine how old that makes him now? I bet he's so damn old that he was around when the universe was created. Although, I can't insult his acting career. He's an A+ actor worthy of an Academy Award. With scripts like Mr. Nanny and Santa With Muscles, I'm amazed that they weren't box office hits. Not to mention he has an amazing singing voice, raps quite well and is a prodigious song writer. With lyrics like "I used to tear my shirt but now you've torn my heart / I knew you were a Hulkamaniac right from the very start" and "Always go swimming with a buddy / work real hard and always study" you have to wonder why he chose to be a professional wrestler with all of his artistic talent.

i don't know about you dudes but...i got a friend(he's gotta be 25)but every time he get's drunk he goes off on how the hulkster made wresting....anywho after listening to his drooling rants i find he makes some valid point's plus i just have to agree with him to make him shut the hell up...(my opinion is rick rude was the greatest)

Are you all nuts!! Those who gave Hogan a less than five deserve to be chastized. Hogan has made wrestling as it is today. His feuds with people like Ric Flair and Randy Savage have made his name. He is an American hero to many. Especially when the Iranian's held the Americans hostage, he was thrashing the Iron Sheik and Sgt. Slaughter, ones who celebrated what happened (God only knows they really didn't). If it weren't for Hulk Hogan, there would be no wrestling as we know it.

I can't believe u people, hulkster made people everywhere finally notice wrestling as entertainment. Sure the beginning days were great but hulk took wrestling into an entirely different demention, a demention where there could be one ultimate champion, a hero and an icon for wrestling fans around the world. I grew up idolizing hulk and can tell u I was a little(ok, a lot) hurt when he went bad, but hey, he's hulk hogan, was, still and always will be THE BEST.

hulk hogan sucks royally! he was better as hollywood, i liked him playing the criminal better than the lame hulkster. the white and black,NWO hogan was better than the sick-ass mustard yellow reject! anyway i think his expiration date is long overdue, but his huge ego and the bright mustard-yellow colors have finally sent this has been right into the downward spiral of dementia.
