RVD is a great wrestler with an appealing style. There is nobody else like him and I think he deserves a long term world title reign one day. Hopefully he will go to TNA soon since his contract with WWE is over and he did not sign another one. I think his style would be perfect for TNA which has a kinda Southern Style and Extreme wrestling style (kinda a mix of WCW and ECW). Soon you may be calling RVD Mr Thursday Night.

all, i can say is.....he is so f***ing repitive it's not funny.My brother and i watch wrestling all the time but ive noticed that its when rvd enters the ring i get bored, its that same couple of moves and never nothin new, he sucks, he really really sucks! and for his ever present move botching, repetitive style he will 4ever be a midcarder!!!

What happened the whole f***ing show? He was the man in ECW. He turned into a giant weeny. For the love of god he even shaved his chest hair and pits. For Shame RVD for shame.

CHILLED OUT

He is fun to watch for a little bit but then after a while he gets very repitive. He can not sell if his life depended on it. All he can do his a hardcore style which in my opinion is not wrestling.

Rob Van Dam is a very good wrestler, although he could make more of his mat wrestling ability - which he rarely demonstrates. I've seen him do some great mat-based stuff, his adaptation of the mexican surfboard into a pin (He used it on Sabu a couple of times) was a great move.

Overrated to the fullest extent of the word. He cannot give a good promo if his life depended on it, and he is constantly botching important spots and/or throwing potato shots and busting his opponents open carelessly. If he didn't leap from the ropes and turnbuckles, I can guarantee he wouldn't receive half of the response he does. He is a spotmaster, but can't carry his opponents; he needs to be carried to a good match. The only reason he deserves even one star is because of his flexability and how he can sell certain moves (ie. Half Nelson Suplex) that many guys would get injured from. All of his success in the WWE has been handed to him. He hasn't earned it nor does he deserve it, and it saddens me whenever an opponent has to put him over at their expense, because he rarely ever returns the favor. Here's to hoping he stays in the midcard forever, because he is most definitely not championship material.

RVD is so sluggish that other wrestlers have to meet him half-way on his poorly timed "acrobatic" skills. He also has ZERO charisma and a stupid trailer park "hairdo." The reason people THINK he's hot is that his initials are easily chanted, but beyond that, he is dull, slow, and irritating. Time to get rid of him...

when Invasion started I was agenst RVD,because I had just watched for 1 year I was totaly Pro WWE(F). Nowe I see that RVD is truly f'n awsome. Sadly the WWE has to waste his hevyweight champion material to have him go for the tag team gold. sure RVD and Kane is a cool tag team, with lots of funny crap to pull with Kane's demented personality and RVD's Drug use, but they need him to start going for champion with tag team ties.

A rare set of in-ring moves, but he seriously needs to work on his mic skills. I enjoyed it back in ecw when a new finisher would come around every once in a great while. I'm starting to get tired of the 5 star frog splash.

On his day he can be a show stealing, but normally he blows moves and cuts his opponents (and thats without his van daminator/ van terminator). Probably the most athletic athlete on the roster, but if you look at him he hasn't had a good feud in the WWE and until he has a great feud then he won't make it to the top which is a shame because he has all the attributes required of a legend.

Rob Van Dam's ring skills are simply astounding. His matches usually are the best of the night. Despite what others think- I sort of like his "Big Kid" Character that he has going- the usage of words like "cool", "awesome" and "dude" makes for a really entertaining segment, espescially when he is doing a segment with Kane. They have so much chemistry.

A little too similiar to HBK in looks and style of wrestling. But he's not too bad when he doesn't talk. Looks good in a suit.

I think RVD is by far the best wrestler around today. I have watched pro-wrestling for many years and never have I seen a talent as great as him. (not to mention he is the best looking wrestler I've ever seen!)Yum Yum gimme some!!

Rob Van Dam! What more can I say? Not only is Rob incredibly gorgeous to look at, he is the hottest man in the WWE! To top it off he's very talent! Rob was born in Battle Creek Michigan, December 18, 1970. Today he weighs in at 237 punds and stands 6 feet tall. Rob's unorthodox high risk maneuvers have gained him a 23 month reign as ECW' television champion as well as a spot in the WWE after ECW went bankrupt. After entering WWE not only did Rob manage to gain the fans love and respect he also gained the hard Core title belt from talented performer Jeff Hardy. Rob truly gives his fans their moneys worth from his Five star frog splashes to his rolling thunder. The best part is, he's just getting warmed up! He also won the Iron Man contest and came in number one in December's 2002 PWI 500. Rob is a great athlete with love of his fans, great moves, wonderful ambition, and a cocky yet mellow persona to boot. How could you not love him?

Coolest guy out there. He talks, but not too much. And, now there's someone with some moves. He's got the martial arts stuff, he's acrobatic, and he can take getting beaten up. A true ECWer gone WWwhatever.

Rob Van Dam is definitely a worthwhile addition to the world of WWE/F/G/Whatever the heck it is right now. He seems to be doing a wonderful job of making himself popular among the audience, without any King of the Ring titles to help. When you compare RVD to such nuisance loudmouths as the Rock, the Undertaker, and Booker T, there is no contest, really in who is preferable. Which would you rather see - the Rock talking about the "People's dentures", or Rob Van Dam doing backflips onto an opponent? I know what I would find to be the better of those options! Rob Van Dam is a great technical wrestler. Take care, everyone!

R-V-D, R-V-D! He's got amzing ability in the ring, he can have a great match with almost anyone and his laid-back character is one of a kind but there are things that he has to improve on. First, his mic skills could use some work .... okay it could use ALOT of work but that's something he can develop as time goes on.(Remember when Chris Benoit first started on the mic? Now look at him, he's actually pretty good.) Secondly, it would be nice if his matches weren't just spot-fests galore. Yeah, high spots are great but when he keeps doing the same spots it gets repititive. Also, why is it that when someone works on his back, moments later when he has the advantage he hits the rolling thunder? Wouldn't it be wise to AVOID using the hurting back? Ring Pschology goes a long way. Little things like that need to be improved for RVD to be a true five-star wrestler.

ROB VAN WHO?

The great thing about RVD is he has incredible ring skills, an established and exciting out of ring persona, a loyal fan base, and he KNOWS it. He's confident enough in himself to plod along in the midcard of the WWF for the time being, because he knows it's merely a matter of time until he moves up to main eventer status. He's not just a rookie who runs his mouth, because any night of the week, RVD will go out there and prove he's as good as he thinks he is, and that is reflected in the respect he is given from the WWF old schoolers. Short of Kurt Angle, I don't think you'll see anyone rise to megastardom as fast as RVD will.

Even though I don't like, him because he is on the alliance, you gotta give it to this young superstar, he will have a great career.
