He was good for a while. I would like to give him a four star, but you know the story.

Anybody who is stupid enough to hire him after he burned the Dolphins the way he did deserves to lose games, lose money, and lose face. Just watch and you'll see Ronnie Brown be a far more effective running back than him. Ronnie Brown has been a "more effective" running back than Ricky Williams without being a menace to the team. The Dolphins more than likely plan on keeping Brown, who rushed for over 900 yards despite splitting carries, and using Williams as trade bait. UPDATE: The Dolphins shouldn't have bothered taking Williams back because, guess what... it looks like he failed another drug test. You see, these players know that they're going to get tested eventually, so there's no reason they should get caught. The fact that he has tested positive for banned substances 4 times now shows you precisely how stupid he is. If you even fail once, you probably aren't all that smart. Now, in all fairness he still has the right to appeal it, it doesn't appear to be marijuana, it could be any of a number of over the counter supplements deemed illegal by the NFL, it could even be because he drank too much water (makes it look like he used a masking agent). Still, it's hard not to look at his past and wonder, 'has he done it again. Assuming his appeal doesn't work out, he is suspended for a year... Assuming it does, the Dolphins are stuck with him.

He may smoke pot but he takes one year off he still can run for almost 200yrds when hes not sharing att.

numbah is yawning. Why? 8 yards in his first game back after a year off to smoke weed.

He's a pothead that's destroyed his entire career, reading the earlier comments before his leave of absence is hilarious, poor guy, he'll be on Celebrity boxing pretty soon...he owes 8.6 million for his SB, and his 550K contract will only pay off so much. Will he ever get a huge contract again? Very doubtful, and he's getting up in age. He's done.

not gonna miss him in the backfield when the fish come to face our beloved Green and White :-) Oh....and the thought by many that he saw the condition that the immortal Earl Campbell is in now and that weighed on him is a joke.....just ask Earl.....even now he still wouldn't go out of bounds. Ricky, you didn't deserve to wear the man's number.

Loser! All talent no heart.

Ricky is UNSTOPPABLE!!! Teams can stack the line and he still will prevail. O line and quartback are definitely negative against him. But he can get it done. Small hands make him fumble

could rush for 2500 if he had a better offensive line and a consistent quarterback.

After all he has overcome he serves as an inspiration to those of us who suffer from the same problem of anxiety, and not to mention he whoops ass on the field, to bad the o line in miami stinks

Ricky Williams is an NFL joke. Everyone hyped him up, but he won't amount to anything. He's another Griffen from Ohio State. Being a great college football player doesn't necessarily mean you will be a great NFL player.
