Moving is always a difficult task, however, this move has been by far the easiest and most satisfactory move we have experienced. The service we received was phenomenal from the moment it was booked until our goods were delivered.

We had a relatively complicated move (start at my place in Vancouver for my stuff, stop at my boyfriend's place in Whistler for his stuff, and end in Calgary to unload), but there were no issues. We even had a relatively strict timeline as the building we were moving into would have charged us $300 if we weren't done by 5pm. Well, they got to my place on time and things went smoothly from there on.

As usual, I had way more stuff that I expected, but the 3 guys we had were all efficient. They were very hard working and kind men. Since I had had a very bad moving experience in the past, with a different moving company, I was especially nervous about this move..... Not only did my oversight not seem to faze the moving crew, but they even spent time explaining to me how they were planning to wrap certain belongings.... They were extremely careful with everything we owned, treating our belongings as they would their own....

The rate was unbeatable compared to other well-rated places (Atlas Van Lines, Williams or United Van Lines). In fact, the only way to get a cheaper rate than this place is to go with unregistered/unlicensed/uninsured place (i.e. craigslist). That wasn't an option for us as the building we were moving into required the movers to be insured, licensed and accretited business of the Better Business Bureau.

Please extend my special appreciation to Mark for the responsible, good-natured way he ran his crew, for their excellent communication, and for their tireless devotion to a job well done! Each time I unpack a box I'm reminded of their contributions.

I really appreciate everything they have done for me. Here is my official thank you so everyone can see what a great firm they are.

I personally wanted to thank Vega Line Moving Services for my move from Montreal,QC to Burnaby,BC. In this day and age its hard to find a business that gave me such good service. I had a 9 am booking, they showed up at 9 am sharp, and from the start they worked hard and never complained once, even though I had a ton of stuff. Even though moving can be stressful and hard I can honestly say it was an easy move considering everything, they made it easy. So thanks guys, you were great and I would recommend you to anyone!! Nothing damaged and even the boxes, I don't think I found one yet even dented. You guys worked hard and helped me out more than you think or realize, so thanks Vega Line Moving.

I'm very happy with their service. They were very professional, polite and handled my furniture with care. This was my first provincial move and thus I was somewhat worried and stressed with the whole thing. Vega Line Moving made my move so much more bearable. Well they finally arrived, missing 2 bags of irreplaceable items, clothes, souveniers and memoires from Italy including other travels, jewellery, gps system etc...

It's been over a week now and these bags are nowhere to be found...I can only imagine some pikey girls running around some ghetto wearing my expensive clothes and shoes.

I say if you want it done right, do it your flippin self...I would have driven myself from Calgary to Victoria if I would have known! Trust Canadian, not dodgy foreigners who charge you extra and won't unload until your cc payment goes through, 600 dollars more than the quote and extra 3% for using my Mastercard?!?! Rubbish!

The good: vega did show up on time, and transport my belongings well. Some of the boxes were a bit damaged, but all of my stuff showed up and there was minimal damage.

The bad: they sound very professional on the phone, but when the actually arrive, the slimy tactics that go along with insurance sales and used cars came out. They wanted an extra $150 for a "long carry" since it was over 100 ft to the truck. The truck was too big to fit in the loading ramp (not really my fault, is it?). Then on the drop off, same thing. A set of stairs, another $100 cash, long carry, another $100 cash. It took all of 1.5hr for 2 guys to drop off the stuff, and I don't think their unskilled manual labour is worth $60 bonus + their base hourly salary. It is too bad, if they had discussed this before hand, or had some sort of standard policy on their website, I probably would give them 5 stars. Instead you get some guy asking for extra cash, and you feeling like you got ripped off.

Vega Line Moving and Storage Services were we lie for free and guarantee you to charge you up to 10 hidden fee!!!!!!

Don't be foul by the sweet talk of their sales representative because this company will surely bring you trouble.

Aside from been charge hidden fee for the scale service, the "downtown" service, the warehouse handling, the tape they use and the stairs they have to climb (100$ for any stairs even if it's only 2) to mention only a few, this company take not care what so ever of your belonging. Over 31% of my goods were damage, broken or literally missing!!!!
Now, when come the time to claim damage, they tell me I have an insurance deductible to pay when under their liability of carrier conditions, they are responsible for the damage.

So finally, after week of debating with them, I get to talk with the claim manager and they offer me some money. Here is what they tell me: "In the interest of goodwill, and [because they] value [me] as [a] customer". At this point, I was tired and sick of all this bullshit, so I accept the money.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !!! Oh and one more little fact. They didn't like my review on their company on this site, so they though they could ask me to change it. So for all of you customer out there, I updated this review... I added more details to make sure you can make your own opinion.
