I can't believe Vinny Testaverde is still playing. I know he was brought back to the Jets in an emergency situation because of his huge amount of experience, but there is no way that he should see the field at his age.

I hate name-dropping more than anything here, but the comment above about testaverde (by the bright football fan appropriately-named) had me laughing out loud. . .

He should be in a nursing home.

He has alot of yards, but I don't think that makes up for all of the INTs he's gave up.

He's put up some pretty good numbers in his careers, 6th all-time in passing yards, 8th all-time in passing TDs, but hang it up Vinny. You were an interception machine early in your career, and it has not improved in old age.

INT machine.

i'd rather clean out a port-o-potti at a bran muffin factory in mexico then have vinny on my roster. give me billy joe hobert. give me don majkowski. give me major harris. is tony sacca still playing? anyone but vinny. he's a washed up glorified bernie kosar with a hot dog bun for a brain.

All I know is he sucks. Madden 2002 shows him for what he is, a brain dead interception machine. He may be retarded, he certainly throws like somebody who can't tell which players are his. I hate his miami hurricane guts. reak your leg vinny, please.

I think Vinny is a great QB, i have been really mad this season because Vinny has no time to throw. The o-line doesn't hold anything, plus vinny should be in the shotgun more. He is an amazing QB, let him play.

He has some tools. He's big (6-5, 235), athletic, and mobile to some degree. His arm is strong and he can show touch as well. He'll make all the throws, the deep outs, comebacks. His delivery is very good as well. He just isn't smart with the ball. He struggles on reads, on attacking coverage schemes. If he doesn't have to think, he'll be alright, but when he starts to think he has to win it himself, he'll make poor decisions, force throws, get picked off.

Gotta love a guy with a name like this!
