Curtis Martin is quietly becoming one of the all time great running backs in the NFL. He is a great NFL player who has always done things with class.

You have to realize he didn't really do all that amazing last year, just better than everyone else at getting yards. Priest Holmes was set to get alot more yards thans Martin until he got injured. Still, anything over 1500 yards is nothing to scoff at, unless it's Jamal Lewis in 2003 whenever he was tied for the league lead in fumbles. Yards are erased by fumbles. Good thing the Jets made sure to get Derrick Blaylock to replace Lamont Jordan, because Martin probably doesn't have a whole lot left in his tank. Having the Jets line, doesn't hurt either. Since he's as old as he is and doesn't have much upside anymore, I'll give him a 3, even though he had a 4 season last year.

Mr Durable and Reliability in the flesh. I'd take him over any other RB in the league right now. He's got more guts, and leaves everyhting out on the field.

Did you watch the year he just had?

solid and steady, but unspectacular

Great all around. He is getting up in the age category, but I think he will continue to produce for the Jets. GO CURTIS!!!

He had a wonderful career, but is losing a step or two and will slowly start to lose his job to LaMont Jordan.

I THINK CURTIS MARTIN IS ONE OF THE MMOST UNDERATED RBS IN THE NFL HE ISNT FLASHY OR ANYTHING BUT GETS THE JOB DONE

Curtis is one of the most durable and reliable backs in the NFL. He doesn't fumble and can catch the ball out of the backfield. Just put him in the backfield, hand him the ball all year and he'll end up with 1,200 yards. He is going to help the Jet offense put up some serious points this year even without Keyshawn.
