05/19/2004 | Sadly, he will be remembered more for losing a six-shot lead in the Masters to Nick Faldo than for his 60+ worldwide wins. Could have easily won 12 majors, but ended up with only 2 British Opens. Was usually outdone by another player's heroics (Mize, Tway, Nicklaus, Calc), but other memorable losses were self-inflicted.
