12/31/2005 | OVERALL Phil definitely ranks as a 5 star golfer and human being. He may not have won as many majors as some but he has 2 now and many more wins per year than most. More importantly, his quality as a husband, father and human being is exceeded by none.

04/11/2005 | I have to admit it was the natural instinct to root for the underdog that first drew me to Mickelson. However, even after he won his first major, I still find myself rooting for him. A far better golfer than he was ever given credit for (the Buffalo Bills of golf, if you will), he only adds to his appeal by being a nice guy with a good sense of humor.

A green jacket should jump-start your career in the majors; I wouldn't be surprised to see another major when this year! You know what they say: the first one's always the hardest. 03/25/2003 | If the man would just stay concistent out on the course. I believe he has the ability to be a Tiger hunter if he wouldn't let his emotions dictate his swing so much.
I think he may be a gambler at heart as well.

02/15/2000 | The reigning holder of the "best player to never win a major" title. Mickleson has all of the tools, particularly one of the best and most creative short games on the Tour. Yet, he seems to lack the killer instinct that some of the other greats on the tour have.
