 | Senatorfan (0) 11/08/2005 | It's a little tougher when you don't inherit or can't buy the all-star team, and are forced to draft and develop. Turgeon instead of Forsberg? Yeah, that's a good choice. If Colorado was so wonderful, why didn't their stars make the $ work? It's because they were only hired mercs, and didn't give a crap about their fans.

 | mikey frans (0) 02/10/2003 | First of all there is not a better 1-2 punch in hockey than sakic forsberg..a team should be judged by how many stanley cups it has won recently and if there are cups on their horizon..avalanche fits the criteria....they have the best general manager in the business in Pierre "I never seen a trade I didn't like" Lacroix. And the best money goaltender in the league..A Great Team and A Great Franchise..enough said

 | GOMIR (0) 01/02/2003 | They suck, and they have a retarded goalie. Roy bites. Their fans think they're all tough, give it up. Losers.

 | marcuscap (0) 12/21/2002 | This is NOT the great teams of the past 6-7 years. No Raymond Bourque, Chris Drury, Adam Deadmarsh or Sandis Ozolinsh. Upper tier talent (Sakic, Forsberg, Roy, Blake, Foote, Morris and Hejduk) is still top in the league. Depth is a major problem, and the offense has slipped over the last 2 years. A step behind Detroit and Dallas, at the moment.

 | Rusty (0) 09/08/2001 | These guys are the former Quebec Nordiques, a team I used to despise with a passion because they were such a dirty team. That was back in the mid-1980s. Now, they have transformed themselves into one of the NHL's elite. With players such as Forsberg, Sakic, Yelle, Roy, etc., these guys are in their prime. In retrospect, it's too bad Quebec City never could celebrate, because their first year in Denver, they win the Cup. Yet as I remember all those dirty, cheap-shot Dale-Hunter-Paul-Gillis-Pat-Price-Mario-Marois-led teams, I shed no tears for them. Once a dirty team, always a dirty team. Sort of like Philadelphia.
